My impression: in eastern europe there is still more presence of traditional tales telling to children. I mean we all knew those czech tale movies from our childhood. They were produced there at a time when this tradition was yet about being killed by strange post-industrial era ideas.. Today here in western europe hardly any child is still being told tales by the elders. No story telling, no stories. Where should it come from?

You, Warhorse Studio, have created a masterpiece. This is a game that I will replay many times again and greatly recommend. The story, the characters, the gameplay, the graphics : everything... You can feel the passion that has been put into their making. Also the proof that hard work and perseverance pays off! I'll happily wait for a KCD 2 and the sequel of Henry's story... I rarely write down my opinion like that (actually, I almost never do), but after finishing the game, I just felt so impressed that I just HAD to say something.

Good things take a while especially if you make a historic game which needs massive amounts of research and creativity in writing to fit real history and unlike games like Assasins creed it takes much less shortcuts so it’s really difficult. I think it will be announced next year (there is a small chance that it gets announced this year but I wouldn’t bet on it).

Yes, but it is difficult to show deeply immersive story in a thrilling trailer. You have to experience it. The Game is indeed not as combat heavy as it is shown in the trailer, which doesn´t mean there is no combat, but it is very heavy in story telling. :)

@WexWex9 you have to both train your henry and find out the timing, with a warfare skill of 20 and 20 in swords you can basicaly rapid fire combos and just finish your enemy within seconds, combine that with all the damage perks you get from maintenance skill, you get way too powerful. i play hardcore mode with all negative stats on and still need to restrict myself with weapon and armor choice to not get completely OP early on.

I bought the vanilla and was amazed by the scenery and the storyline but i was rushing it. I tried to play it again and bought all the dlc's to be able to experience the whole thing and this time i didn't rush it. I must say that this game is amazing the scenery, the story, some of the sidequests stories are sometimes almost as good or even better than the main story. And thats what i like about this game. I really hope to get a sequel and hope that the sequel will be more famous than the 1st game. Thank you warhorse for this amazing and phenomenal game.

This game has taken a totally new aproach to RPGs, and for Warhorse Studios' first game, this is a god darn masterpice as you can see. This is the game i want to show my children, this is the kind of game that will NEVER be forgotten, something like the older total war titles, they have they own charm, and this game is recreating that charm, it's just diferent. No longer are the publishers hungry for money, but they're seeking new food, and that food is an audience that will suppot the developer and the publisher trough thick and thin, the next game on the line for Warhorse Studios has to surpass this one and that's not a easy task, truly. I really hope the story of Henry keeps going and keeping pace with the actual history. Either KC 2, or Jan Ziska, i'm eager for both. Jan Ziska will probably have some crazy battles, with the gunner carts, and the cunning of the Bohemian outcast.

Lol Bethesda hasn't made a proper RPG since Oblivion. Skyrim and Fallout 4 are literally the definition of an adventure game. Warhorse & CDPR made narrative driven character focused RPG's. They may not have a character creator, but therefore they're focusing more on story and the predefined character itself. But I agree to some degree, they have yet to make a proper CRPG. Cyberpunk seems very promising so far.

This game was a masterpiece, even if the DLC didn't quite cut it. A bundle with it all combined for a good price would make it worth it. The base game, however, was just so fantastic. If you haven't tried the game yet, I highly recommend starting the game blind on hardcore mode with multiple hard settings. I wish I did my first experience with this game that way. Not that non-hardcore isn't great, but hardcore REALLY helps you immerse and adds a lot of fun.

I played this game after reading about it in some article. Am absolutely loving this game!! Such an inmersive story, the combat is fun once you learn it and level up!! My favourite game so far was RDR2 but now is definitely KCD,much more rewarding!! I even enjoy lockpicking on PS5 😄

Tremendously enjoying the hardcore mode Warhorse! Truly a breath of fresh air to not be bothered by HUD elements. You guys have been doing a great job bringing out patches and new content. My one recommendation is that you take your time with the next game. Don't be afraid to tease us a bit and make us wait for it. Imagine how much more positively your game would have been received, had your taken a few more months to iron the bugs out. Though I understand you needed the money after such a long project. I'm looking forward to seeing what you bring us next!

Witcher 3 and Kingdom Come are Adventure games, not RPGs. They lack the "role playing" aspect. The core of an RPG experience is creating a character. Kingdom Come fails this on every level, from giving a pre made character called Henry to you to control, having that character behave how they want in a majority of situations despite how you want him to, if you don't class him as a standard knight you will be stuck in some bad situations. Playing as a ranger, thief, or silver tongue won't work because there are times where you are forced into sword duels and fights where being stealthy or charismatic being no benefit and focusing on ranged combat will result in these situations possibly breaking the scripting or be forced into close quarters because your character does so without your consent. No, calling these games RPG degrades their overall quality, as adventure games they are wonderful, sure, but they are being sold as RPGs to cash in on a desperation genre. Why sell as an adventure game where you're competing with hundreds of games a year when you could call your game an RPG because it has a leveling system and compete with the average 0 to 1 releases a year.

No it’s not that is such a bullshit idea there are ton of Japanese rpg where you can’t create a character nice try. By the way so call of fucking duty where you could change the character face was a rpg. It’s called rule playing game not create character game. In kingdom come deliverance you play as a character is is force into a war also you can customize him you can play by killing countless enemies with different weapons or you can talk yourself of trouble also you can master different skills and use those skills to complete goals. By the way it does degrades their quality that some of the dumbest thing i eve. My god no shit you need to fight but a archer/ rouge can easily do well you only have to fight in like four battles why because it’s telling a fucking story my god character creation doesn’t not make a rpg they wanted to tell a story ok you can play as someone who is ruthless by killing people you don’t like or not saving a town because you don’t care it’s give choices in this game and you can play many different roles. I think and many other told this to you before so it’s seems to be either you a total jackass or a total dumbass either learn to read for what rpg stands for. Have a good life

I have purely enjoyed kingdom come deliverance and the DLC and will be waiting for your next game also thank you for not pandering like so many other game companies I play games to get away from all the real world politics being forced down my throat on a daily basis for a few hours so again thank you

I guess most people would consider it boring, but id love to have more managing to do about my village and my subjects... More ruling stuff and less peasant stuff... I dont want to hunt anymore... I want my hunters to do that for me! I want to have an escort of at least 2 guards(either normal NPCs or "friends" ) I also need to expand my village over time into an flurishing town with real townwalls, more people, more guards, watchtowers and stuff... Although not important, it would be great to choose your average guards appearance, colours, their/your banner... Not weapons or armor... I wouldn't want them to look all the same... I loved kingdom come deliverence and i know i won't and cannot be disappointed when the story continues... Cant wait to hang out with my bff hans again:D

I will never forget my first playthrough of this game. Walking through a forest at night on horse back with nothing but a torch and then it starts raining to and you have to find something but can't see a damn thing... I have never been immersed like this in a game before it was quite the journey.

My game won't load. When I try to it deletes my save. I have to buy 4-5 Savior Schnapps and use them at once hoping that one of them will do the trick. Losing a lot of hours. Will this be fixed soon?
