I compare the performance of various presets on the Steam Deck OLED for Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
For me, these are the optimal settings:
High Preset - HD Textures - Shadows Medium - SMAA 2TX - Motion Blur Off
- Object, LOD and Vegetation draw distance max. - Locked 30 FPS
It looks great and runs very smooth and consistent. However, the other presets also look good and are very much playable. Even Ultra High.

I want to get the Oled because of the shitty battery life, one more hour is worth it for me. Compared to the Original Deck, is there a significant difference in battery?

With my Oled I get about 50% more playtime. Totally worth it for me.

OLED is beautiful. Vibrant colors. Better battery, even plugged in the battery while charging will always stop at 99%, that’s to keep the battery healthy, good thing valve implemented. Bigger fan, cooler deck, 90hertz max, bigger screen, you can actually feel the weight difference when you hold it, I got the limited edition when it came out and I sold my LCD to my brother. Only had the LCD for about 7 months but was totally worth the upgrade.
