Fun obscure fact: Sark's voice actor in KH2 is Corey Burton who is a well known VA, but also known as the original VA for Shockwave in the original Transformers. Burton based Shockwave's voice on David Warner's portrayal of Sark from the original Tron. So for Burton to be playing Sark is a neat little detail.

@@crepsecularcorvus1674 No thanks. Not when there are multiple times during this guy’s playthrough of Kingdom Hearts when it seems he’s getting hit on purpose. Also, in Final Fantasy XII, when he was fighting Mateus, he could clearly see that the boss was under Reflect status. He still decided to use Fira on it, which nearly got his whole party killed. Doubly pathetic when you consider that in that particular game, ice monsters are weak against lightning magic. This guy fuckin sucks, sorry.

I think that’s why it works. The system is so simple that you don’t have to break your brain on combos, styles, or other gimmicks. The shortcuts for spells also really opened up the potential to mix up the fight.
