Here are examples of Sora & Aqua’s Similarities: 1. They’re the Kindest of the Group & carry the Heaviest Burden. 2. They Both Mainly have an Affinity with Light. 3. On many occasions they’ve been forced to Fight their friends & Save them from Darkness. 4. Aqua can be Considered the Primary Protagonist of Birth by Sleep as she has the Largest Role of the 3 Playable Characters. Her story Extends even further on BBSFM Secret Episode & even further on BBS 0.2 5. Aqua Considered Passing Her Power to 1 of the Boys at Destiny Islands(Heavily Implied To had been Sora), if Terra hadn’t already done so. 6. The *Wayfinders* Aqua made which *hold the Power to use the Skills & Abilities of people they make Connections with* is Similar to Sora’s *”My Friends are My Power”* Trait. 7. On the Ending of BBS as Aqua is reminiscing the many people she met on her journey, Sora is the Final Person That flows through her mind. 8. In a Sense Their Names Sora/Aqua are Somewhat Similar. *Water*💦 that Reflects the Blue *Sky* 🌌 9. Ansem the Wise Tells Aqua that she reminds him of a Boy he once knew *True to His Friends and Kind* & Describes him to Aqua. 10. Sora ends up inheriting *Aqua’s Master Keeper*

@@soralight_x All excellent observations *except* for 1#, which should really go to Ventus since he can be benign to a fault, and 10# as Sora only temporarily had the Masters Defender and didn't use it for any other purpose than finding Aqua (not even to fight), and she immediately got it back permanently anyway. The two also share a lot of strong key differences. Mainly how Aqua tends to often doubt her own abilities and self worth and elevate everyone else above herself to a fault. She does grow to overcome this character flaw in 0.2, but it was still a pretty apparent contrast to Sora (who grew overconfident in his own abilities to a fault, at least until Xigbar hammered home in DDD how circumstantial his role in universe has been). Of course, that's not to say Sora doesn't believe in the abilities of his friends, though the multiple instances in this game where he tries to do everything for everybody kinda show a subtle lack of faith even he'd never admit it. Then there's also their status as Masters. One was trained traditionally and earned the title, and the other was self taught and failed his mark of mastery. There's the difference in there capacity to endure. Aqua spent years fighting within the RoD, and despite all the hardships, she proved her resilience and held onto the faith that her friends would come save her. In contrast, when pushed to his limits in DDD, Sora ended up succumbing to darkness and nearly lost his heart and his agency to Xehanort. This was what made him fail the Mark of Mastery. Also, in Kh2, when Sora and Riku got cast into the RoD, they were already willing and fade to Darkness without much of a fight (though Riku had a lot of guilt at the time). Aqua, after both getting the title and proving her fortitude in the RoD, showed that she had qualities a true Keyblade should possess. Riku would go on to obtain these same qualities through his own journey. There's also the fact that he and Aqua, and most other characters, don't tend to be anywhere close to as naive as Sora, but that's obvious.

DarkWhirlwind88 I’m well aware of the Connections between Sora/Ven, Riku/Terra & Kairi/Aqua but I still see Aqua as being far more similar to Sora than what Ven is to him. 1# is technically not wrong as it’s been stated since BBS that Aqua was the kindest of the group. As for #10 I should’ve said “he ends up wielding instead of inheriting” my bad. I’m not saying Aqua is Identical to Sora & Obviously She’s not, but is still the Most similar to him in terms of character & Story. Sora being naive, silly & clumsy? Yeah that needs not me mention, anyone who’s up to date on the story knows very well how Sora is by now 😆 STILL those are some of the traits that make him special & unique.

The last time any Sora technically had contact with Zexion and Lexaeus was when Roxas was taught by them in that first couple weeks right before those members were sent to Castle Oblivion. And that's when Roxas got punched in the face without warning.

Onionhorse They should add Vanitas as a Boss in Riku & Mickey’s EP, their fighting styles are very similar so I think it’d be an interesting Match, also Mickey kinda has a score to settle with Vanitas. They should make a DLC EP about Kairi & Lea too, in both stories Riku & Kairi would meet up with Sora at the KB Graveyard near the end. They should be long Running DLC Eps in chapters at least 1/3 in length of what Sora’s story is in KH3 What do you think of this? 🤔
