in the new data battles, some of them has reaction command Xigbar for showdown Marluxia to dispel the doom (15 timer) luxord for drawing the cards i think that's it not very much, and no...for data battles it doesn't make it easier it's actually harder (gotta say kh3 limit cut is harder than kh2fm data battles and i'm comparing critical mode on both of them of course, i like kh3 now with the data battles) oh and data greetings hehe

The fact that you have a window of about 2 real time seconds to finish him is just incredible. Really tests two crucial aspects of Kingdom Hearts gameplay: staying cool when the odds seem stacked against you and reacting in the most crucial moments. Panic and go too early, and you lose. Don’t react in time and go too late, and you lose. You’ve got to hit the sweetspot, simple on paper but the real obstacle is your own ability to make it count.

Marluxia is a character who definitely benefited from Union χ. He was rather interesting in Chain of Memories, but him and Larxene were merely ambitious traitors who wished to overthrow the Organisation. Union χ gave both of them a backstory and their interactions in 3 are beautiful. I hope we get to see more of them in Kingdom Hearts 4.

I struggled with it at first but then I went back and got myself the Ultima Weapon and all the bosses (except Luxord and the other who have yet to be unlocked) have been a breeze.

Attack him after he does the counterattack thing with his reflect/block and when he sets a tower of mines and sends you that red disc and the ground trap. He's vulnerable at those times! Try to save your keyblade transformations that have automatically unlocked the final command to stall if you are trapped by his rage mode barrage too! (Ultimate and rage form, among others)

Believe it or not, but it seems like the real danger of that last death counter is that it is meant to stress you out and provoke you into attacking him while he is literally INVINCIBLE. The only time you can hurt Marluxia (also the only time he removes his armor) occurs when the death counter is about to run out. It would be wise to just survive his initial onslaught and just quickly clip him with a shotlock or a spell once he becomes vulnerable.

If u guys want to cheese this fight (for high lvls) at 1:22 when the dm start do what he did in the video but when the skull comes up in ultima form u can spam atk on him itll break his armor and go to reg hp. Dont dispell yet keep on atking his defense is pretty much 0 doesnt counter or block u can get him down to 1 hp with 3 combos then dispell and do his last dm move. Easy win if u time everything right

Marluxia was my 1st Data Battle since from what I've seen(before I started my Re:Mind playthrough),he seem to be one of the easier ones. Plus,he's one of my favourite OrgXIII members(right behind Axel and Roxas). So of course I'd have him to be my first ever Data battle and man,the devs DID NOT DISAPPOINT. He's hard,but he's not too hard,let alone unfairly hard. He requires you to have good timing,memory and pattern recognition. He's a good start out of all of the Data Battles,imo. And can we talk about how damn BREATHTAKING his fight is? Not only did they reuse some of the moves that he had,even the ones that were all the way back from "that one in infamous KH game(Chain of Memories)",but he also has some new ones or even the same old ones but with a twist. My favourite example has got to be his iconic DOOM COUNTER as it went back to its original roots. It follows the same rule as the one from CoM instead of KH2 since it's a *COUNTDOWN* where you have to quickly interrupt him,lest you'll meet your demise,just like the one during his final boss in Re:CoM. I really love that(especially since Final Marluxia in Re:CoM is one of my favourite final bosses in KH,or even just bosses in general). Oh,and that music though. This new rendition of "Lord of the Castle" is just so AMAZING,MAGNIFICIENT,GORGEOUS EVEN! Yoko Shimomura has done it again! She truly never fails. Plus,that last DOOM counter ...whew. Now that's what I call *EXHILIRATING* Whenever it happens,my heart would immediately start beating in such a fast manner. Combined with the fact that the Doom counter is ticking down rapidly just made it so much more nervewrecking,but the moment you do finally get to hit him at the last few ticks... Man,that was undoubtedly one of the mosy satisfying moments I've ever had in KH. I was so happy and nervous to the point where I literally had a hard time breathing. Plus,my heart was beating so hard that I bet you could even hear it. Overall,Data Marluxia is such a fantastic and beautiful fight and it'll forever be,one of the best Data Battles or even bosses,in the entire KH Series

I found out by accident that you can break marluxia's armor in first phase by casting fire.

I saw some openings in my own experience. Pink aura with armor means that he'll just staggering to any fire magic and so I generally doubleflight, firaga, and airstep. For the 4 teleporting hits, after the unblockable, you can airstep to him for a combo but the window is very very small. But now that I see this vid, I think I can do this without kupo coin now that I see how to dodge some more moves. Well it's more of a matter of reflexes for me tbh since I know how to defend against most of his moves

Beat the game in Critical Mode. Afterwards, you’ll get the Proof of Times Past. Once you go to the Moogle Shop after, you’ll automatically get Oblivion.

Previously, from KH2 Final Mix Data Battles: Marluxia (siding up near Sora's ear): KH3 is totally going to suck balls. Also, turns out that Me, Larxene and Ventus are all connected! Crazy, huh? Now: Maluxia (siding up near Sora's ear): Nomura's trying to pitch Versus XIII again, this time its' under the name "Verum Rex", and this time it looks he might actually succeed. Also, I have NO basis for thinking this, but aside from Demyx, Luxord is actually not even from ANY timeline of the KH-verse. Mind-blowing, huh? Sora: Uh, sure? All I know is he gave a me trading card, and it isn't even a Yugioh Card! Marluxia: You nerd. Everyone knows it's all about Magic the Gathering.

kh3 is a good game and its flaws are shared with kh2 (like pacing,disney worlds...ect.)
