This was absolutely the most best part of the game, I know there were a lot of emotional moments in Birth by Sleep, but this ending? This ending tops them all, for me personally anyway.

Yeah that little meeting with Ansem happens after KH2 where that device of his blew up and he just disappeared. That shoreline is where he ended up. Aqua’s reaction to fighting that Dark Hide or Red Eyes Heartless is genuine because she has never seen or dealt with Heartless before. Getting those prerequisites and getting this ending was so satisfying for me knowing that her story doesn’t end here. If you get a chance to play the fragmentary passage you’ll see more from her journey after seeing Cinderella’s castle in the realm of darkness.

Before sora shows up in thr cutscene any character that says soras name , are people that sora has to save. So they aren't happening at the same time the director just chose to use that and show who needs saving

Blank Points is a great ending that puts the entire story of kingdom hearts in perspective. For all the fun and happy moments, kingdom hearts also has a lot of sadness 😔 But to think that there's a chance that this one boy Sora can make things right for everyone who met a tragic fate, yeah I shed a tear too Aqua 😢 Recoded cutscenes are next. I really like re coded, it's a fun movie! Then after is 3D which is part of the 2.8 remix collection

The thing about that ocean is that we've seen two sides of it- the side that Roxas and Xemnas spoke on, and the side that Sora and Riku ended up on. The rock Diz is sitting on makes this the former, hence why Sora and Riku don't see him. People tend to argue this (the friends were just further down the beach), but Nomura said they were on different sides in an Ultimania. This leads us to everyone saying "Sora". This part is symbolic, and goes back to Kairi's letter- One Sky, One Destiny. Sora, of course, means "sky". The eyes over the Cinderella castle brings to mind Kingdom Hearts from the first game. It was covered in darkness, but surrounding it was an even darker heart. The remaster makes it easier to see if you are looking for it. Riku being in London with Kairi's body was in the trailers for the first game- this shows that it still happened.

As you can see Aqua's been in the dark realm for a long time during the last three games and she then came across Ansem the wise who somehow got warped there too after the encoding machine self-destructed and now he has a little bit of amnesia. Meanwhile Sora has finished reading that letter he just received from King Mickey at the end of KH2 and now he has to set off again for some reason you'll find out soon enough.

P.S: I forgot to tell you.... To unlock the final episode you need to 100% each story, ( I do not remember how but the journal should say).

After recoded when you pop in KH 2.8 youll notice that 0.2 Birth by sleep a fragmentary passage is one of the games you can select in 2.8

After all these years, I still tear up on that cutscene 😭 When its said "Birth By Sleep - Volume 2", it's originally a "code name" for a potential sequel but we eventually we got it under the name "Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep -A fragmentary passage-" which is part of the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" collection but we still not there just yet ;) Now time to watch the Kingdom Hearts Re:coded movie next. 💛 Enjoy ;)

this game was my first experience with kingdom hearts so when i beat this game as a kid and looked up the secret ending and saw the scene with roxas, axel, and xion I was so confused as to why ven was hanging out with other people. 😂

Not literal are all the flashes to the other characters in Blank Points, but symbolic rather of all the hearts Sora has touched or has to save. That's why they're all saying his name. Aqua's been gone for 10 years, and when she meets Ansem it's after KH2, so Roxas, Namine, Ven, etc are all exactly where you know them to be.
