They should do a ‘Dark Seeker Saga Final Complete Edition’ and include this game as a remaster with KH1 style gameplay, Days and Coded as playable games, also with KH1 style gameplay, and union x and dark road as playable games with modern graphics and voice actiing, with KH2 or KH3 style game play. They should drop that a year before KH4 as a final button of the first saga.

*R.I.P. Wayne Allwine, voice of Mickey Mouse from the late 1970s till his time would come in 2009. He slayed as Mickey in the kingdom hearts game, now we have someone who sounds like they’re not trying at the same time, doesn’t have anywhere near the same range or emotion Wayne had, and sounds weaker and younger. Just hire Quinton Flynn to do Mickey his voice sounds so much more like Wayne allwine’s. Like-scarily similar. I had a hard time believing it was him doing the voice and not Wayne, until he confirmed it was in fact he doing it on Instagram. Exactly. In truth. Advent Children was the first time I heard of Final Fantasy and the first time I ever saw Cloud. That movie (although a bit confusing with not knowing the story and all) blew me away. It was, . . .Epic is the only word that does it justice. The same would be said for Kingdom Hearts. Parents really aren't a big focus in this game....which is kinda understandable, since the story and characters are already so complex... According to Riku, Sora has a dad as well, but he isn't mentioned either. And who raised Lea and Isa? Is Riku related to Xehanort? Is Kairi's grandma still living? Does Ventus have a family? Where did Aqua and Terra come from? Lol, I guess Ienzo's one of the lucky ones because he has like 5 dads. XD

Vektor Destiny Islands is made up of two islands . The first island has little houses on it (we see it in KH1, KH2, and BBS) and then there's one that they hang out/play on. The two islands are a short distance away from each other, so they use boats to travel back and forth. :)

The first cutscene in chain of memories makes me cry knowing I'm not getting that joy again that memory that's out of reach the thing that brought happiness also brings pain the joy I got out of kingdom hearts I love this series with all my heart and will never forget it. Riku story was easy as hell, Sora story is only hard in the beginning, once you realize that sleights (particularly sonic blade, lethal flame, ars arcanum, etc..) are all broken powerful everything dies pretty fast. Only fight that really pissed me off was the first Vexen fight, Marluxia final fight, and Zexion. The combat isnt hard to grasp at all, but eh, all the other games are brain dead easy with x and triangle spam

After seeing all the things from Chains of Memories..Things in KH 2 make a lot more sense and you're able to understand the story better. What I wonder about KH 3 is if they're going to pull that same stunt where they make the game but there are parts that they wind up explaining more via spinoffs

I'm 99% sure that anyone who hasn't played the in-between games will be completely lost in KH3. There was only one game between KH1 and KH2, and it was somewhat confusing to skip it. Now we have 358/2 Days, Birth By Sleep, Coded, and Dream Drop Distance (3D). 358/2 days is not terribly important to the plot, as it only concerns Roxas during the events of CoM (though the story is engaging, even if the gameplay is incredibly bland). Coded contains some important story elements (apparently, I haven't played it/watched the cutscenes yet) that left me somewhat in the dark in 3D. The events of Coded may become more important when Maleficent returns. By far, the two most important games since KH2 have been BBS and 3D (which are, by the way, both excellent games). BBS revealed the main antagonist of the series and a few other characters (namely Aqua and Ventus, possibly another) that will almost certainly appear in KH3. They also explained why Sora and Riku can wield the keyblade and why Sora was not originally supposed to do so, which may or may not be important. Then we have 3D, which will be problematic because it is a direct continuation of the main story. It has incredibly important plot points (arguably more important to the story than CoM was to KH2), and will not likely be ported to a more mainstream console before KH3 is released unless they ship the cutscenes along with KH2 HD Remix, which seems somewhat unlikely. Without this game, people will be lost as to who Xehanort is and what he's doing with Organization XIII. There will also be confusion as to why Axel (now Lea, though even the characters still call him Axel) and other Organization members are alive again, why Axel can wield a keyblade, and why the Princesses of Heart and Organization XIII are now incredibly important again. In the end, KH3 would have to have a mighty recap to cover all this information. Though the important parts of 3D be covered to some extent, I have a feeling that a lot of players will be left in the dark. It's a dangerous thing that the series is headed for, and I fear that many people who have been understandably foregoing the other games will be disappointed.

On the one hand, it has been tough to play all of the games, but on the other, the spinoff games (which aren't really spinoffs at this point) have given SquareEnix a lot of room to experiment and refine things, and that has yielded some excellent games, both in terms of gameplay and story. I'd say the other games are definitely worth playing (except for 358/2 days, which again has an excellent story with boring gameplay), but it can be incredibly frustrating if you don't own all of the systems. IN the end, people will have to at least have a PS3 and 3DS to catch up before KH3 comes out.

***** Of course, but for one thing, that means people have to miss out on some awesome games, and two, there are a lot of people who won't even know that the other games are important until they get to KH3. Knowing that you'll need to wade through 4 games worth of cutscenes (at least 12 hours in total) is not a great thing. That, or they could watch a somewhat less exciting recap video. It's certainly doable to catch up on the games, but it won't exactly be a ton of fun.

Liking this cut you put together, but I'm nearly two hours in and noticed a mistake. I think the scene where Axel talks to Zexion about how he thinks "Marluxia will be next" should be sometime AFTER the scene where Sora fights Axel again (ending in "I'd hate to kill the suspense"). This is the part where Axel "takes his beating" from Sora that he's making reference to...and in fact, Zexion even refers to Marluxia in the past tense as if this might have already happened.

This is the perfect bridge to the second game for people that don't want to wast their time playing a sub par card game. Looking forward KH 2.5... never played it.

Looking at the Kingdom Hearts guidebook it looks like I was mistaken about the "2 years" thing because it said Sora was 14 in KH1 and 15 in KH2 so it was only one year

This was such an engaging story alongside 385/2 Days but the last words in the post-credits scene got me really thinking. These words will hold special importance hopefully for Kingdom Hearts 3 as a lot of these stories are deeply connected through the characters' hearts. I hope Kingdom Hearts 3 will answer all of our questions in considerable detail as there are still a lot of pointers that we don't know.
