I actually refused to use the Epic Game Store, and I only have a Switch, no Xbox (except 360 but no KH for it) and no PlayStation, I'm finally gonna be allowed to play a non-cloud version of Kingdom Hearts THANK ARCEUS

Ugh this sucks, I bought them last year on sale on EGS (also own them on PS4), but really confused as to why Melody of Memories is not getting ported over? Considering its a music game, there must some kind of licensing deal as to the reason why its not ported over yet, because if that wasn't the case, it would have been included in the announcement. But I imagine Square will work something out if this does well on Steam to bring that game over. I heard this was going to be in one package to buy all three of these in a bundle (that must be the reason why MoM is not included, because Square wanted a larger package, but MoM couldn't be included, so I imagine since that game isn't as popular, it will be ported at a later date, hopefully late this year after the June 13th release).

I have been waiting for this day for three years. When April came and went, I very nearly gave up hope and bought them on Epic. They were 60%. SO GLAD I DIDN’T. I FINALLY GET TO PLAY THEM ON STEAM DECK. No emulation, achievements, the whole nine yards!

There's already a SIZEABLE amount of mods for ALL the main Kingdom Hearts games on Nexus Mods. Stuff like Ultrawide, HD Textures, Japanese Voices, High quality FMVs, Keyblade retexture colors, Recolor outfits/Hair, Playable characters etc. There's also trainers to make the games smooth and addicting on gameplay without the grind (EXP Multiplier, Infinite MP, All Keyblades/Accessories, Max Money/Materials etc). I have the High Seas version. The only good thing about the Square Enix EGS games is that they don't have denuvo (Thank goodness). I have install all these mods installed and are working PERFECTLY on my end. They just need to address a few minor issues this games has like the lack of graphical options, some crashes here and there etc. There's also tons of dedicated modding community for the KH games, but with the Steam release. It's going to be even bigger than ever! I have a feeling Melody of Memory will have a new "Version" that will add new scenes to bridge into Kingdom Hearts IV (MoM is the "latest" when it comes to canon timeline). I can't wait for this! Same with Steam versions of FFVII Rebirth (I have someone porting the costumes from Ever Crisis to FFVII Remake) and FFXVI!

Finally get to play Kingdom Hearts on PC in offline mode most likely. I've heard Kingdom Hearts on EPIC is always online and can't be played offline. The same thing happened to Final Fantasy VII Remake requiring an always online connection. When Final Fantasy VII Remake came to Steam the online requirement was removed. I'm sure there won't be an online requirement to play Kingdom Hearts on Steam either. I'm sure the ability to be played offline is a big plus with Kingdom Hearts on PC.

I wish that if you had your steam account linked to your epic games account the game would transfer there being extra content makes it worse because I already have it on epic and now there is a reason to get it on steam

Well this is very very amazing news i have played both kingdom heart 1 and 2 on ps2 back in the day (jeez I sound like a old man 👴) but still now this game is releasing on steam after my birthday 🎂 i am excited to play them again, also i am very looking forward to having a chance to play the new kingdom heart 3 but for now i am very excited to play 1 and 2 again so i will be waiting for it on steam on the 13 of June.

lol I was just making a save for rechain of memories to finally continue my first playthrough on ps4 but then this happens??? ill probably just play through 1.5+2.5 this summer and maybe buy 3 on steam

Never played on steam but have considered but always been a console guy excited actually about it coming to steam deck I'm thinking of upgrading to that instead of having the switch and huge fan of kingdom hearts and am so excited for everything going on with it. Hope your doing well and I'm looking forward to that new version of simple and clean for sure. Wanna play kingdom hearts 4 so bad I know I need to Amp up by going back and playing 3 alot but my favorite is 2 and really train guard on 1 again and try combinations out and wold like to see what they do with the nods and accessibility of mods and how well it will all play out

i've considered buying it on epic games store before but never felt right about it. I don't think i've ever played a game through epic before and i only recently got a steam deck. Glad I waited. Now that we're fulfilling KH dreams, i wish for a playable HD remake of 358/2 Days.

Thankfully Melon Mix exists for 358, a special build of the emulator MelonDS that condenses the game into one screen mostly and adds proper analog controls to it. Not a full HD remaster but it's definitely an improvement
