This cavern will always be a special place for me, but the music is also something very special for me. My first KH game was KH Days and when I first got into CoR this song sounded unique in multiple ways, it sounded nostalgic yet new, mysterious and adventurous. Finally, I remembered hearing this song in KH Days literally like a decade ago which since then last time I played Days I haven't touched the series for many years until somewhat recently. (Like a year ago) But after making that connection I felt like I was part of the game and I was Sora or Roxas lol.

@@pyxl666 what version of the game? My 2.5 data Xemnas likes to spam reversal with barely functional reversal reaction commands. If it wasn't for that, he would have been a lot easier. Still did him first try though (i just uses Session to get out of his 'we shall go together' move), but it took a lot of megalixers.

@@vaimantobe3034 KH2.5 is the version I played. I never got to play the Final Remix versions until then. With the Reversal commands it takes a lot of precise timing and I advise not to try attacking him as you are dodging around in the air until he stops. It may take a bit, but he will stop. When he does the move where he spins while ascending (at the end of that move), you can trigger the reaction command where Xemnas knocks the keyblade out of his hands and Riku tosses it back to him.

Cavern of Remembrance is the first real landmark moment for the game, because it's legitimately an actual bonus dungeon with a surprisingly high difficulty curve to make you really think through your movements, whether it's battling monsters or solving puzzles.

They really butchered the kh3 version, it went digital for the setting, but Im doing so we lost the harmony that was created from the original track. Kh358/2 and kh2 made this feel so immersive. Good times .

The KH3 version grew on me over time. I'm not in love with the idea of trying to make everything sound more ominous/cinematic but I accept that Square wanted Shimomura to change things up since the setting was different

The orchestrated version feels too dramatic. It’s like you’re in a heavenly setting. I prefer the PS2 version. That version makes you feel like you’re in space.
