My favorite line was this, and this came from Seifer: "Come on. Quit playing around and fight!" Let me tell you, as a Kingdom Hearts gamer, I took his words SERIOUSLY. I pretty much beat every boss without messing around. Seifer taught me a thing or two about the whole series: 1. Never let your guard drop, even for a second, or there will be consequences. 2. Focus as much as you can and study your opponent.

@@kevinkaslana9060 Y'know what? I should really have taken his advice. I tend to just wail on my opponent without thinking, but that eventually bit me in the ass when I finally got to fight Roxas. I died four times, the first time because I was just using my usual fighting, and the other three because I wasn't paying enough attention to his movements, and I kinda just gave up. I ended up doing some level and Drive Form grinding the next day, and on top of that, I also had a good night's sleep (I was fighting him past 10 PM previously) *and* I had already fought him multiple times. After that, I beat him on my first try of that day. Goes to show that I'm really fucking stupid.

Thinking about it, the two battle themes for Twilight Town reflect on Sora and Roxas respectively. For Sora's version, Working Together, it has that kind of playfulness that matches his bubbly personality and flashy way of fighting. That and he is teamed up with Donald and Goofy with whom he works in tandem to take down enemies. Conversely with Roxas being the more serious persona, Sinister Sundown works perfectly. He's on his own in battles, a reflection of both the things happening to him at the start of KH2 and his straight-to-the-point fighting style. The theme itself also has a sort of collective elegance in which to portray seriousness and the shadows that lurk within Twilight Town. I will never stop being amazed with Yoko Shimomura's work. As an adult, I'm better understanding the nuances to the various themes she creates and how they fit with the emotion she tries to portray in a given situation. Personally speaking, one of the great soundtrack creators in modern video gaming!

I'm kind of amazed that they were this attentive to detail. I know Nomura gets a lot of flak for his poor storytelling and his horrible management that's led to numerous delays on several projects, but I do think that he has the creativity to be a game director. I would imagine that Nomura was the one who felt it'd be better to have two separate tracks for Sora and Roxas in Twilight Town, as this decision was based on the separate narratives of the characters. This also serves as an allegory that Sora and Roxas are two sides of the same coin. They both have experiences revolving around their friends, but while Sora has found resolve in his journeys pursuing Riku and Kairi, Roxas's adventures have only ended with him feeling depressed and alone. Even in Twilight Town, despite being surrounded by friends, he still feels isolated and confused due to all of the strange things happening around him that only he has been able to see and hear.

If that isn’t deep enough... another really amazing detail is the difference between Sora and Roxas’s nature on opening doors. Sora tends to open his doors slowly and gently while Roxas ends up busting through them and slamming them. While it is small, its mainly meant to reflect on how Sora is a more passive type of character and Roxas is more agressive and vengeful

This song is almost like quantum physics. You can hear that a part of it is going on an opposite direction to the other one. But hearing either one of them, you can understand where the other one is going, they are intertwined somehow. Compare the blow instruments to the string ones and the percussion.

@@axstin- yeah, hopefully, Kingdom Hearts 3 ended too soon, the game didnt have enough worlds and plus they didnt make it away that you could revisit the worlds again like in the second game, at least the second game took me a long time to complete but 3 took me at least about a few weeks finish, it feels like the game was sorta rushed lil bit.
