I like that part where Riku tells Ansem his name. Even though he already knows his real name, all throughout their time working together in 358/2 and KH2 and Riku always called himself Ansem (seeker of darkness) and it’s like Riku is finally able to be his true self again

Dont know if still care but. It is shown in BBS that Ansem digitized his research while sora slept (so between CoM and KH 2). In KH 2 DiZ (Ansem) asks Riku (who was pretending to be Heartless Ansem) what his true name was in which he replied Ansem. DiZ being Ansem knew this was not true and just laughed it off. So by this logic the Data Ansem would not have any knowledge on Riku’s name since it was created during that time.

@@kuroigetsu8180 This scene is supposed to act as character growth for Riku. It’s just done in a really confusing way. When Riku had the body of Ansem when DiZ asked him his name he said Ansem because he was ashamed of his wrongdoings in KH1. When DiZ ask him his name this time he says Riku as he is more reassured this time.
