Anti Aqua vs Corrupted Vergil/Nelo Angelo and the winner is......Corrupted Vergil or Nelo Angelo!The main reasons are: Nelo Angelo was already strong under Mundus control while Anti Aqua remain same,Nelo Angelo getting much larger and stronger greatsword and even easily beat Dante with only his fist in their first encounter while Anti Aqua pick Mickey's keyblade to attack,but doesn't know how to fight with only her bare hands.Nelo Angelo(Vergil) has up to three rounds of bos fights,but Anti Aqua was fought once before Sora safe her.Nelo Angelo(Vergil) was presumably killed until much later while Aqua has been rescued by Sora and Riku.Vergil(after free from Mundus's control)easily rip away Nero's Devil Bringer to retrieve and claiming back Yamato,but Aqua,after surrounded by darkness,need the darkness to attack Mickey and steal his keyblade because without keyblade,Sora,Riku,and Vergil easily beat her away with only their bare hands.

Strategy: A big portion of this battle will be dealing with the illusions. Anti-Aqua will create clones and you need to determine which is the real boss to deal with. These illusions can be destroyed by a single attack and once you deal with the illusions you’ll get a brief moment to deal some damage to the actual boss as it recovers. There is the Ice Attack which the boss will charge up so its best to just get away from the area when Anti-Aqua is about to perform it. Otherwise, use magic to deal a wide range of attacks at the illusions to locate the real boss in order to speed the battle up.

Am I the only one that wished Aqua was actually one of Xehanort's Seekers instead of just being corrupted by Darkness? I think that would've given this story more stakes in the matter because both Terra and Aqua were meant to be one of the Seven lights, but the Organization managed to get to Aqua first and transformed her into another Xehanort incarnation! That also would've given more impact to Ven because he's now forced into fighting his former friends who are now puppets in the Old Man's schemes!

Even in critical, once you understand her attack patterns it isn't that hard. Other than the secret boss Yozora, nothing is really that challenging. And bosses become even more simple if you have Ultima Weapon or Oathkeeper/Oblivion for dual form

Everyone keeps saying how Aqua having white hair and yellow eyes means she got Norted. But I respectfully disagree. The silver hair is a physical manifestation of her constant stress in the realm of darkness, which actually happens in real life if someone undergoes insane amounts of stress. As for the yellow eyes: remember folks, Vanitas has yellow eyes and he didn't get norted. It's something called "story telling with colors" Blue eyes in KH mean Light, Yellow means Darkness, Green/Teal mean In Between and Silver means undecided. So stop bitching about how Aqua was Norted but not a seeker of darkness.

I also hate how throughout all the games Sora is never officially named a keyblade master, and it’s like some kind of running gag that Sora doesn’t quite have the chops for it. Are you fucking KIDDING me?! It’s possible to beat all three games without taking ANY damage, so you can factor that into the rest; one must also tackle all of the implications of Sora’s journey, particularly this battle. If we are to believe there is such an authoritative difference of status when you become a keyblade master, Sora has a very serious fight indeed, taking on a kind and virtuous master who had helplessly fallen momentarily to darkness, and he doesn’t hesitate, And succeeds. And now here’s everything else! Every enemy that stands up to him gets struck down, not laying a scrape on him, he can repair seals on worlds, open anything, hold multiple hearts inside himself until they can be recovered, bring himself back from death and his loved ones and strike down all the last baddies, and you can tailor all teammates AI to where they do nothing and you really have to do all the fighting alone. I call it the Sora challenge and it’s fun. But Sora should Definitely be a Keyblade Master, before even the end of the second game! 👍🏻👍🏻

The rules behind it are weird, but it may have to do with the wielders conscious regard of the Keyblade. If they think of it, it return to them providing nothing stopped it. While Mickey was trapped, he wasn't focused on it so it just stayed out there, and when Anti-Aqua got it, she somehow managed to stop it from vanishing with her power (perhaps its a strange Master privilege). It's happened before, when Sora lost consciousness against Leon in KH1 Yuffie had to retrieve and carry the Keyblade back to the safehouse, so Keyblades don't always vanish immediately.

Either way It was getting boring and I wasted too much time already to grind a few levels.
