Restrictions: LV1 Critical Mode All Pro Codes Enabled No Damage No Food No Magic No Links No Shotlock No Items No Stat Boosts No Armor No Accessories No Glide No Counter Kick Kingdom Key Only (base level) Finally, we have Master Xehanort Data. This is a pretty fun fight, especially when you know the openings. He has a fun to dodge Desperation Move too. Overall, all the Data fights felt pretty reasonable to no damage, not as hard as some 2FM Data Org no damages due to less RNG messing with the odds (Zex Book world lmao). But because the skill ceiling is high for these, it was still fun. As for what's next, I'm gunna try to do my ReMind review. At some point I'll do Yozora w/Kupo Coin steal, since everyone wants me to as well. For the Data fights, I'm not sure if I'll do much more for no damages for them, since it probably won't be much more fun to watch than these if I restrict more.

One new restriction for Data Xehanort could be that you can't deflect that attack where he shouts "Keyblade!" and throws it at you since he follows that one up with a chain of powerful spells if you don't interrupt it. I think that'd be pretty fun to see since it'd make the fight even more chaotic and explosive.

Poopybutt yeah I always thought like “I’m not saying the keyblade war and the final boss should’ve been this level of difficulty...But it would’ve felt more like a war and more like a final xehanort boss if it was a little bit harder” but then if the story bosses would’ve been this hard ain’t no telling how difficult the data battles would’ve been if we would’ve had any at all... 💯😂

@@JQueezyy Honnestly the Data felt more like the Keyblade War than the actual Keyblade War XD. But I wouldn't like Story fight to be THIS hard, I think each members should have been more flesh out bosses than they were (and fought one at a time). Especially Final Xehanort cause boy his moveset was severely poor and lacking for a Final Boss dude spend 90% of the fight doing nothing but teleporting and slashing -_-, glad his Data gave him a more diverse moveset and X-Blade transformation into Whip, Gauntlet and Double Sword is pretty badass ^^.

After seeing a bunch of videos of this fight, it honestly feels like what the main story's final boss should had been. Main story X-blade Xehanort spends 99% of the fight just using a simple teleport-slash combo, outside of the part where he steals Sora's light and his DM. Here, it feels like he's actually making good use of the X-blade's power. He takes the light from Kingdom Hearts itself, uses laser-firing drones, and in the later stages of the fight transforms the X-blade into even more forms. Plus, his new voice actor did a really good job. SHINE! JUDGEMENT! GIVE ME **POWER**! ENLIGHTEN MEEE! X-BLADE! -attack gets blocked- F**K!...Okay, I think he's actually saying "What?!" there, but it sure _sounds_ like he's dropping an F-bomb. Don't have anything to say on your skills that hasn't already been said. These videos have been a blast to watch, though.

Sincerely, even tho I think this is better than the main story final boss, I still think xehanort could've been just...better than just spamming lasers and throwing frisbees (some part are good tho, like when he's in DM, and the second phase where he transforms the X_blade in many things like a whip). They haven't even put an armored phase, come on, he's Xehanort, the fucking final boss of the game, at least give him 2 phases. (Also, if they would've put at least an "armored xehanort phase", I wouldn't mind the phase where he spams lasers) All of this IMO of course. He's a good boss, but not the best to me P.s. sorry about my english, I'm from Italy and I know it's not really good

Great work! You’re probably right, the only other conceivable restrictions wouldn’t make for that interesting of fights (no airstep is the only one that I can think of tbh), and no airstep would just take away some of the openings, meaning it’d just be a longer video

For most fights (this one included) air step isn't even needed - Air Slide/Aerial Dive will do just fine. The only notable openings that become unsafe without it are things like Larxene at the end of her DM or Saix's quint claymore throw. I do agree there's little point to restricting it though.

Is there a consistent way to dodge the laser after guarding the orbs on the first attack? Idk if I’m doing something wrong but sometimes even if I mash dodge roll I’ll still get hit. A temporary fix for me was dodge rolling before the last ball and about to do the laser attack

Spacing is important for the opening. If you go too far back, for example, laser will hit you before you can dodge.

I know this is a super late reply but I found standing a step ahead of here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fX-7pmmtnMmDhqM block twice, roll directly back (towards the camera), block the remaining meteors, roll directly forwards works 9/10 times for me. It's worth noting you need to be mashing the block button to force the next animation in time

I feel like the KH2 data fights were harder in the sense that they are all fast paced and you can die pretty quickly no matter what, but I also think they are easy (sometimes) to 'cheese' if you will. Reflect, Limit Form, Finale Form if Donald and Goofy are with you, not to mention limits- and me personally, I don't use Explosion and Aerial Finish, cause to me, they make the game too easy. The KH3 data fights are harder I believe on a purely technical level, each one feels different and you actually need unique strategies to beat them- plus learning the move-sets is more required, where as is KH2's data fights you COULD learn their move-sets if you want to, but you don't have to most of the time. Just my opinion anyway, I've never been one of the super competitive players in this fanbase, so while I wouldn't say I'm a casual, I'm not on a Biz level, that being said I like a challenge, and these data fights are rad as hell, and not gonna lie, I'm excited to try them again with pro codes.

The part I dint like about this fight thematically is that all of Xehanort's attacks are based on the x-blade. The meteors are the only attack that feel true to Xehanort. He's a keyblade master that uses the power of darkness. Let's see some of that darkness.

In Kh2 I got good enough to do this challenge with both Sephiroth and Xemnas, but Kh3 didn't interest me enough to try and get this good. I just finally wanted to see the half-assed ending to an arc we've been waiting almost 2 decades for closure to. Kairi and Sora STILL haven't kissed, like wtf is this shit? This game was just not what KH1 and 2 had me expecting. It's basically 20 years of disappointment and I even stopped playing it halfway through and just finished it 2 years later when I realized it was only half as long as the first 2 were and breezed through it in a couple days. lol

That's one of the first openings I even found. I don't find it that rough for those kind of openings, it's usually "boss sits there after an attack for 1+ seconds? Let's test the opening."
