Consider this- Marluxia and Xemnas are the only Org members to have extra forms. Xemnas specifically gave control of CO to Marluxia, giving him authority over even Vexen, no.4 in the Org. I think Marluxia may well be on Xehanort's side, and he simply let Axel believe he was planning to overthrow the Org with Larxene to hide other things from Axel, resulting in conflict with Axel. We may well have not even seen the last of Marluxia.... he may very well be one of the 13 darknesses shown in KH3D.

If he were real, I would not want to meet him in a dark alley. this boss was so hard to beat, and took forever! I had to fill my deck with heal items and a few tinkerbells before I could beat him. He was a fun boss and some of his attack were really hard to dodge if you couldnt card break them.

I am quite aware of that, however I still can't ignore the fact that Xemnas gave control of CO to Marluxia. Why would Xemnas do that if he thought Marluxia was a traitor? And Xemnas may have told Marluxia a few secrets that Marluxia had to keep at any cost, so Marluxia may have not had much other choice other than to fight and kill Axel to try to keep those secrets given the situation. Except attempting to kill Axel didn't work, but he still kept the secrets just fine.

And are you absolutely certain Marluxia didn't know he'd be coming back after being destroyed as a Nobody? Just like Xemnas at the end of KH2, he reached for Sora, and if Xemnas knew he was coming back, and Marluxia had the same reaction to defeat as Xemnas did, I would guess maybe Marluxia also knew. Marluxia may have just been using Larxene temporarily to speed things up before planning to dispatch her himself, but Sora beat him to it before he had been planning to.

That is very unlikely. It was highly insinuated by Saix that they were sent there to be evaluated and killed by Axel. And I don't know why anyone would try to trick others into killing them. Nobody (but Xigbar, Xemnas, and Saix) knew that they were coming back after being destroyed.
