Before you enter the gates in Halloween town this is the song that plays but after you enter that first gate it switches

I definitely like this version the best; it sounds more original. I remember just scrolling through the journal and stats right when I entered Halloweentown just to hear this version before it changes after the cutscene.

That version is scarier than the This is Halloween one. The should've kept it for specific places, like when you enter Oogie Boogie's or at the Disembark area and the other one is for the rest of the map.

either the developers left this version in the BGM music for the very beginning of the world or they left it there intentionally since Jack wasn't in your party yet. IDK it's just thought.

I directly recorded it from gameplay a few years back and put it up here, it's not very high quality but it plays exactly as if you were listening to it while playing the game. I believe I called it "pre Halloween town". I only uploaded because I couldn't find it anywhere lol, guess I should have looked harder

@@fademario2000 when you say they sound the same, do you mean this one and the main theme that plays in Halloween Town after this one finishes (initial cutscenes end)? I think they were similar because Square made this one as a placeholder in case they couldn't get the rights to This Is Halloween.

+13th Vessel oh ok, now personally KH1 is one of the few KH games that I wouldn't get unless I were to get 1.5 remix. One of my nitpicks with KH1 is soras voice, it's so annoying to me KH DDD was a bit better but I prefer KH2 Soras voice

They are exactly the same afaik. This is the only track that wasn't refreshed for 1.5, maybe because you don't usually hear it for very long anyway.
