Found this song when I was addicted to heroin and fell to my knees and begged for help. I am now 3 years clean, have a husband and son. I am so grateful beyond words. Yesterday I was in a car accident with my best friend. I was the driver. I am okay physically but she had to be flown to a hospital for surgery on her head. It seems like she is going to make it now. I want you to please come and sing this song for a fundraiser for my foundation for the families with children who have terminal illnesses. As a parent to 3 children with a terminal illness, and one who has lived most of his life in a hospital, this song sang to my heart everyday that I struggled. On the days when my son was going through chemotherapy, losing his hair, when I thought he would die or was told he could, this song reminded me that the Lord is there in the middle of my storm. It reminded me I could have strength through Christ and Christ in me built me up and makes me strong enough almost everyday to raise my boys and still praise him. I was able to say, "lord, I trust whatever you are doing and mean it because I know you are in the midst of this. My sons will fight, you will bring healing to all of then, and even if you don't, I will praise you and honor the purpose you have in this. I've been listening to Kingdom Music for about 2 1/2 years I don't even know how I found them. All I know is that they have been a blessing in my life. Keep it up....8 years coming up for me. But I lost my 31 year old baby boy to O.D March 26, 2023 He got re-baptized 3 weeks before he passed, I know he was saved he loved. Jesus with all his heart. he messed up I time and it opened the door for the enemy to take him. But God had to allow it He is in a much better place I'm So happy for him, but Dang this hurts So much. I ran into a sista of Christ wearing a Kingdom Muzic shirt on the blue line metro while I was listening to this song. I know that was the good Lord assuring me He watching over me. Irene Gonzalez that's why it's REALLY important to get into the Word of God (the Bible), because Jesus IS the Word in flesh, so when we read the Bible it's like having a conversation with Him. It helps to get a pen & paper when you read the Bible so you can write down anything you think of as you're reading. Plus, prayer is a conversation (not a monolog), so it's always a good thing to listen to what God is saying back to you. God speaks to me a lot when I read His Word though, & He's not a respector of persons, so what He does for one of His children He WILL do for EVERY single one of us! God's always talking to us, we just have to train ourselves to tune in and listen (just like a radio, you have to tune in to the station to pick up the radio waves that are already in the air - the Bible is God's station). I lost my nephew last year and have few words for my sister I have given her all I can in Jesus name but no matter how much faith you have you still miss your loved ones, It' hard on us he was only 23 , I try not to think of him since it fills me with so much grief, but he always sneaks back in my memories I pray he is in heaven it was a sudden motorcycle death, I use to talk to him about Jesus and he listened but didn't say much, I pray he gave his life to Jesus that is my biggest fear I am not sure if he did😢. God bless your daughter I claim recovery over her pain and health in the name of Jesus, be blessed.
