Long after the occurrences in "War for the Planet of the Apes" (2017), a multitude of ape clans have established themselves in the oasis to which Caesar had led his kind. Meanwhile, humanity has regressed to a primal state. However, when the ape leader, Proximus, distorts Caesar's teachings to subjugate other ape clans in pursuit of the remnants of a hidden human technology, a determined ape named Noa sets out on a quest for freedom. She is joined on her journey by a young human woman named Mae.

The girl in this movie is named Maye. And The Main character is named Noa he's the last descendent of Ceasar. And the Villian is named Proximus Ceasar and he's telling the legend of Ceasar but in a totally different way which is gonna cause conflict in Ape Community. And also am I the only one or did I see Rocket in the trailer. Ik in the novels some of the apes were time travelers so I'm super hyped for this movie especially from easily one of the greatest Trilogys of all time

As someone who has watched all 9 Planet Of The Apes movies, & I have noticed that the 3 Andy Serkis movies are essentially reboots of the 3rd, 4th, & 5th Roddy McDowall movies; Rise (2011) is Escape (1971), Dawn (2014) is Conquest (1972), & War (2017) is Battle (1973). This trailer for Kingdom makes me hopeful that we will get modern day reboots of the Original (1968) & Beneath (1970) as well.

i really hope we dont end up underground with telepathic atom bomb worshippers lol but if anyone could pull it off its probably the writers for these films. Though, the destruction of the planet went about totally different than in the originals so it wouldnt make much sense in this new context

@@z00pac Yeah I’ll agree with you there. It’s Ben confirmed regarding it being set 300 years after WAR but in terms of the OG film, I think it’s more guess work? I guess though (and this is simply going off of the trailer alone so I’m happy to be wrong) it appears none of the apes have job titles and is still learning the way of humans and human history. Potentially the battle that appears to be happening is the one that creates a “government” that implements the jobs roles. Regarding her possibly being the astronaut, could like you say be a red herring or maybe they are taking elements of the original? But yeah, I completely see where you’re coming from!

Hi, thanks for reacting to Kingdom of the planet of the apes. I love the reboot trilogy Rise, Dawn and War starring Andy Serkis as Caesar❤️ They are masterpieces to me and my top 3 movies in cinematic history. When kingdom was first announced i was a little skeptical as Caesars story was over and Andy Serkis wasn’t going to be involved in it. I miss Caesar❤️😭💔. This film is set 300 years after War and 100 years before the Icarus space ship crash. After watching the trailer numerous times i’m really excited to see it. I already have a fave ape it’s Noa (the protagonist ) and ape with the eagle. He is a descendant of Cornelius lineage with a family tree leading back to Caesar . Rocket has a descendant in it too. I also love the call backs to Rise, Dawn and War with Caesars window symbol on the boat, necklaces on the chimps necks and behind king Proximus’s chair. Since these movies are always set in America perhaps the other species of apes are in other countries. Be a fascinating idea if this new Proximus wanted to conquer the world like the British Empire did.

But just incase they find a way to make it an insane plot twist I want to be ready for it. Because the new good ape act more similar to Ceasars bloodline and look like him and his son too. Plus this new King seems like he will be a more smarter and calmer version of Koba who hates humans naturally.

@@toby_ri2669 Sorry, but I agree with OP. The CGI is by no means bad. Still better than 90% of the garbage CGI we see today, but it's true that the CGI is of a lower quality compared to the last two films. It's very similar to Rise's CGI, which also wasn't bad, but wasn't as good as its sequels. I don't really know why this is, but the CGI in Kingdom could be better, but it's still satisfactory, so I'll watch it. Besides, lower-quality CGI can be excused if the writing of the movie is good.
