I knew this because mmlh said this somewhere on reddit that fire overrides the poison effect of wicked sisters which is very bad as we lose over 100 true damage. Mostly I think this is the reason why people don't like the wicked sisters because hellion tridents is the better option for reinforcements and it makes the wicked sisters worse in poison mode.

I actually prefer the Demon Guards because I usually just use reinforcements as a bag of hitpoints

But Demon Guards have less duration. They expire in 12 seconds when Tridents last for 14, and the cooldown for reinforcements is 14 seconds. So you’re left "exposed" for 2 seconds even if the guards last their full duration. They’re worse at blocking in some ways because of this.

Tridents are still better 99% of the time. Idk why the hell the 'tanking' units have less duration, making them worse for blocking

i really wish the KR series had a toggle or option for more detailed tooltips. its annoying seeing demon guards described as "can take tons of damage" when hellions take like 1 less hit. and the series has like a hundred examples of that where things are described as vaguely as possible

I used hellions only on start, but later i started use a demon guards, due to the fact that their ranged damage is so small (even with fire damage) and because of their low hp they are not able to properly restrain the enemy, while demon guards perfectly restrain the enemy, and this is what I need, because sometimes you need to restrain, for example, a magician from his range attacks (for example, a winter witch), and to protect the end of the path, you can put Bone Flingers or Elite Harassers.

but some damage over time effects are not really that good in vengeance and the range plus the trident fire damage is effective against weaker enemies
