They messed up badly with origins. So, whatever they do now, the bar is reset, and they know it. Which is why the perspective has been flipped. If they made another game about the good guys, they would have to repeat themselves+ add more, but Iron Marines bombed badly, so they can't afford another dud, and they're lazy to begin with. So what was left? Oh! Let's use the material we have already created, but make bad guys the protagonists! At least, they are picking it up from the end of Kingdom Rush Frontiers, and using some kind of new system. Just keep in mind; they will most likely just do the same thing they did for the last games- release a string of heroes one after another post game release - see how much money people throw at them and then make us wait. Honestly - the comics and characters look really charming- they should just do some comics between the games to help us follow the story. Even if it was an unoriginal story, it would help us connect more to what's happening in the games, and ultimately make us care even more about the whole thing. Not holding my breath Tbh.

The last sentence XD BTW this are nice points of view and i agree with some of them but there are some things that i can't agree! You said they are lazy and i think there is an explanation about this. To make such a good game,characters,story and world on the whole it takes time plus they are not that big studio and they don't have that many employees!Also by making us fight on the other side they add freshness to the game.I agree that they need to make out of game comic to explain more about the story.BTW i am a beta tester of the game and i can say that the game is absolutely awesome :) and i want to thank you for taking your time to write this things, you recive reward for the longest comment i have ever had under my video :D

@@Rushix I'm sorry to seem so critical, but I have followed Ironhide since their very first release of kingdom rush on new grounds- then to kongregate with frontiers which is the reason I even opened an account there and started to support them when they started to offer more heroes for money. I often forget they are a small studio- you're correct that I shouldn't expect so much. But I'm glad to hear some positive feedback from a beta tester for Vengeance, thank you so much for this video and your response. Ultimately, I know I am expecting too much from them, so that's probably why I do not want to get my hopes up again xD Like I said, Origins missed the beat for many reasons and then we got Iron Marines, so my hype and impatience for this upcoming game are of almost epic proportions haha... They have come a long way, that is certain, and I just wish they got more support so they could maybe fund more additional features for an updatable platform for phone games- somewhat like Summoners War, then we would never have these several year long windows of no rush at all!
