You’re definitely playing in the CORRECT order! The mystery of John’s history is the backbone of RDR1’s story and knowing everything beforehand would deflate your experience. Besides the ending of the epilogue in rdr2 hits you with so much more gravity when you know how rdr1 ends. Don’t listen to the others - they really only want to skip ahead to their favourite game and forget about rdr1 all together..

What you said is true but the opposite is also true. RDR2 to me feels like a better game if you don't know what happens in the future. The two RDR games are special in the way that playing in either order can be equally rewarding

Either way is good there is no better way to play. If you play 2 first then everything in 1 is far more emotional. I personally always play games in chronological order unless you need world building context in the game that released first.

Just wanna say a time saving glitch is to park your horse half over a dead animal and then you can skin it much quicker without the cut scene. You've done The Witcher 3 and now RDR 1 and presumably RDR2 to follow, now to make my favorite trifecta, even though I know you probably won't, based on your past comments anyway, but I'd still love to see you playthrough TLOU series. My fav 3 series based on gameplay, lore and stories.

As someone who played the first game before the second, going from red dead 1 to red dead 2 is defiantly the way to go!!!!! Especially when talking just gameplay wise, it's A LOT less jarring going from red dead 1 graphics and gameplay to the second. Sure the second maybe a prequel, but I think it's super interesting going into red dead 2 knowing the events of red dead 1 story telling wise.

How is Rdr on PC? is it working properly? no technical issues? if not, then i will played again, i haven't played it in years.I still remember playing it on PS3 a few years after release and it was amazing, and after a few years Rdr2 came out and it shocked me on how good it was, the story, the characters, the world, everything.Is very hard to compare the two games, both are extremely well written and build, is very hard to say which one is better.Anyway enjoy the game Ace👍

Hey bro, when are you going to start a play through for fallout 4 or fallout 3?

I would try and refrain from reading g comments especially because it is so easy to spoil the game. You should try and get a friend to filter thorough you comments. ❤

Thing is chronologically you should play rdr2 before rdr1 as it come sooner in the timeline. But then again. You don't screw anything up by playing rdr1 first.
@daghel73992 ай бұрын
You should start from Red Dead Redemption 2 bro. I know it's confusing, but while playing rdr1 You'll have some serious spoilers for part 2 (which should be played at first).

Both orders are correct

Bro it really doesn't matter. RDR1 came out way before RDR2.
