It was a good conversation with the young pair. I do think the somewhat sizable speaker gives an angle for them to shut you down. Maybe one you can wear would be better.

I can see that. The thing is the event was blocks and blocks and more blocks. I definitely would out of courtesy not set up right next to a booth that went to sell things. I was pretty far away from anything commercial. It just kind of seemed like the officers were saying they rather keep the peace than allow me to keep preaching and maybe have the organizers get angry.

@@kingdomenterprises Absolutely, most cops are agents of the prince of this world. I think a personal size speaker PA system might be better anyway. You'd be more mobile and people would be more comfortable approaching.

The police are giving you unlawful orders. Amplification is always necessary for free speech and the supreme court has upheld this right. The city ordinance must require a decible level and cannot outlaw all amplification when used for free speech. many cities will try to impose unlawful ordinances and you will win in court when you are willing to stand up for your rights.

Many of us in local city in UK proclaim the Gospel of Christ Jesus. Newcastle other places too.. King Charles II. Put on the statute Free Speech. King Charles I got the axe.
