Actually, Liam had most of the lines other than Harry in the first two albums but once they found out that girls took more of a liking too Harry and then started using Zayn for his vocals… Liam started getting less lines. I honestly weird tho that he’s considered underrated cuz overall, he was still getting wayyyyy more lines than Louis and Niall. I’d consider him the best vocalist in the group if it wasn’t for Zayn or a very very close second to zayn.

Liam's a Baritone, Zayn is a tenor. So by nature, Liam can sing lower notes and Zayn can sing higher ones, both of them have crazy ass ranges. The difference is this, Zayn can do this 7:35 this is where Liam struggles, he struggles to sing high notes without falsetto, meanwhile, Zayn's that vocal beast that can do high notes with and without falsetto, switch instantly from chest to mixed voice to head, and give these heavenly riffs and runs. Both are crazy talented! 🙌

Yes. Thank god someone mentioned it. He literally kills it with any note and any genre. One of the great things about LP1 is that you can see how he literally kills the game in so many different genres and styles. I've seen some of his notes in filmed shows, they are shockingly good. a tip, always keep your ears open for some rare one time vocal treasures by liam if you watch 1d concerts. no one notices them because the camera's always on someone else, but you'll never be able to unhear the rare vocal moments once you've discovered them :)

But what makes everyone compare Liam to Zayn is the fact that he can go almost as high as Zayn and can do very low notes, crazy falsettos and his switch/transition into these falsettos is smooth as hell. He has vocal abilities that are completely mind blowing for that of a baritone, and so technically it is more difficult for his voice to hit those notes yet he can go almost as high as Zayn which puzzles people and tends to pitch him against Zayn. What he can do with his voice not being a tenor is just unbelievable. Liam's voice is a blessing to mankind and he should be appreciated for it without being compared to anyone else.

Finally! I feel so proud and happy right now! This video mostly focused on Liam's higher vocals, but he has a very wide range and he can sing very low too. His harmonies and falsettos are one of the most beautiful things in the songs and he always nails his parts in the songs and it's like people expect him to always be perfect but don't give him the appreciation he deserves for what he does, and he doesn't get enough credit for what he brought to the band. Actually they all brought something special to the band musically and characteristically and that's what makes One Direction what it is. I love them all so much and I'm so proud of the people they've become. Underrated kings:) Also I really enjoyed the video, can't wait to see more of your reactions.

Liam is insane he actually had the best audition out of all of the boys and showed consistently that he had the range and talent throughout his career. He wasn’t ever given the high notes in the studio recordings like zayn was but he always killed it in the shows. I feel like the reason he’s underrated is because his music stayed in the dance pop genre rather than showcasing his songwriting abilities.
