I bought a KingKorg, now I need to learn to play. Cory Henry HERO!
@giuliaiglesias50182 жыл бұрын
If I was Korg, I'd be crying tears of joy. This is the best advertising a company could ask for. Just a legend using great equipment on a legendary performance. His soloing on Lingus is absolutely phenomenal. His runs aren't just cool, they're captivating. They're tight. Perhaps what I love the most is the way he uses the lower keyboard to give himself chords to take his solos in different directions. At 1:17 for example, look at how expressive he makes his left hand work just by adding some chords. Truly iconic. It doesn't get better than that. King Korg on top. $650 - $750 Korg Kronos on the bottom. $2,400 - $2,700

I just got both halves of my brain scrambled! I knew that cat was good, It's snarky puppy !!! But Lord!! That's THREE PEOPLE. It sounds like 5. I love my king korg but it's never been loved like his! His left to right hand dexterity is enough to make chick corea squirm. I was just browsing king korg videos and found this! Oh I'm watching this Alot

Not true, Chick Corea far out performed him in both hands back in the days and he still does. Corey is undoubtedly a fantastic player tho.

@@snuppssynthchannel Corey Henry is in his bag on this solo, so no need to talk about who this sounds like or whatever...
@snuppssynthchannel2 жыл бұрын
@@jodizzle6321 Not talking down Corey, its just that the original statement is not true. Chick had superb technique and dexterity and did mostly not ever care to play fast merely for the sake of it, but he was that type of player that has no limitations when he gave it all, perfect technical surplus and one of the greatest keyboardists of all time.

@medievalsessions7 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it's all over the place, but it's a middle of the road product that does everything pretty well. Professionals will usually just spend $3000+ on better or multiple units to achieve the same thing. That doesn't mean this is junk.
@BRbassedu7 жыл бұрын
I haven't seen the current rig you speak of, but here are a few possible reasons: • KingKorg is a stage ready Synth, hence the bigger size as compared to monophonic synths. He's only using the Lead monophonic sounds on it, thus wasting a lot of his potential and making smaller synths more interesting; • Although it is a very impressive VA Synth, KingKorg doesn't feature aftertouch, which is an important function for players of any level, specially of his. • He has a Kronos under it, which... kinda makes a 2nd keyboard quite needless
@jacobbrown16906 жыл бұрын
doesn't need after touch for his playing lol, a moog little phatty could do the same thing with no after touch, all thats needed is velocity and portamento
