@@ChillwJill some people like myself suck at aiming with controller. With above method you will almost always easily shoot him from point blank range

Is it possible to fly to the exact location and then wait for the big cat to show up as opposed to running there hoping he doesn’t spawn yet?

I don’t see why not! I noticed in my game that when I fly around, the frosty screen does not populate. The frosty screen is only triggered when you dismount your Ikran and are on foot. You could fly to the location, dismount, and see if that triggers the thanator. If it doesn’t, you may have to walk around a bit

I don't really understand how the sarentu totems ups the value for the materials. I've gotten all Sarentu totems and my roll is lower. Maybe I have to finish the totems quest but it says it can't be completed at the moment... Hate that there's not a clear wiki for this deep late game stuff

I understand your frustration, especially when wiki doesn’t exist for this yet. In this particular video, I did complete the quest and the main story line. I’d be curious to see if the stats increase for you on this beast once you complete one or both

Just for info, all stats increase, after you finished the master crafter challenge, of the maker skill tree, which appeares after upgrading all skills of that tree. it enhances all gear and weapons by 30% by crafting them as master crafter. greetings and enjoy the game

I don’t understand I’m doing everything thing you said and it gets knocked or what ever but then I use my heavy bow it does 73 damage I’m hitting it’s weak spot and it never dies. Can someone help me also I don’t k Pw how to high light it’s weak spot is it something special or do you just shot the yellow can someone help or is just my bow.

If you are on the PC, press X to highlight its weak spot and you need to one shot kill it in the yellow weak spot. In order to one shot kill it, you have to be a high combat strength level and have higher level gear and heavy bow/spear-thrower. You can also make meals with the fury buff, which is lean meat first, then anything else as the second ingredient. Hey! Thanks for the comment! I don’t think there’s a faster way. I think the only way is leaving the area and waiting for in-game time to pass, then traveling back and hoping you see the frosty screen again

But now that I’m thinking about it. I wonder if you could pass time a few in game days and it’ll respawn that way. I haven’t actually tested this theory out, but if you do, you’ll have to let us know!
