It's weird that he got AD right off the bat though, because riot does code the adaptive to make it champion-specific in case you don't have any stats from items. I remember reading abt it in some patch notes. Maybe they didn't bother for brand because there's no way you don't build any AP on him lol

Riot really needs to update adaptive force so that it is on a per-champ basis, and THEN it gets overridden by items. This is something I haven't understood for a long time, I don't know why it's like this. This way if you build AD items on an AP champ, it will switch over, but if not it defaults to AP

The op thing about phenomenal evil on champs like brand is that it has an internal cooldown "per ability" but Brand passive and certain other dots(Lillia Passive) have no cooldown and count as 1 ability, so they just permanently give stacks every time they tick.

You're getting the Phenominal stacks from the Brand passive, applying it counts as a seperate spell and then it gives you ap every 5 seconds (aslong as it is active)

Thankfully, they nerfed Phenomenal Evil to no longer give 2 stacks per second for champs with damage over time effects. Unfortunately, Brand still has his trait DoT counted as a unique ability cast, on top of the explosion also being considered a unique ability cast. They seriously need to fix that.

Theres an Interesting bug when you get AD-APt and lich bane btw. For some reason Lich Bane removes AP from you and when you sell and undo you can go negative AP. No Negative AP does not give you infinite damage like I thought it would in some kind of wrap around spaghetti. But an interesting bug that lost me an AP ezreal game lmao

i think the phenom stacks once with each ability and ur passive stacks individually aswell but with no cd between each different ability so in one combo instead of 3 ap your getting 6 and the explosion does 7 and another burn aking it 8. Idk tho lol

Can you test sylas with marksmage? I think it is bugged somehow and the passive is using the 130% ad scaling from the augment. So we get the 30%, if I'm not mistaken, from ap and 130% of that ap too bcs of marksmage. I'm saying this bcs I picked it yesterday and did 10k damage with 200 ap only on the first round with just the augment. It's sussy but hilarious

im pretty sure adaptive force has a default choice per champ and then looks at items to choose what to boost, idk why brand's default is AD but if you had even the AP starter item it would go to AP. you could have 10000 AP from anvils and it would still give AD

I find it a shame that there are so little augments for dashes other than earthwake or resistances/ms. I'd love to see something like increased dash range, maybe an augment called "flash dash" which would make every dash work like flashes or maybe repulsor dashes, so using a dash would push people away. Idk how tough the balancing would be, but it would make for a more fun experience imo.

There're also "Dashing"; "Now you see me"; silver augment that give bonus MS after a dash; "Restart" to let you burst 2 rotation instantly in a short time; Mirage blade to refund your dash skills; Voltalic legendary. And then you can play with other synergies that take advantage of MS and slows, energize, zooming when you haven't taken dmg. Those are plenty of options in how I'm seeing. The real losers of this arena mode are adcs, all their synergies are literally nothing but "huh duh more exponential dmg and ever increasing dmg per round only", with the only fun things being "Draw your sword", Scoped weapon, moonflair blade, . In comparison to AP carries: Big brain getting shield from AP; Demonic embrace with MS boost active; Minds to matters getting HP from mana; plenty of overlap with Heal and shield and become "drain fighting enchant mage"
