Some catchers "pintch" by using pointer and thumb..those would do good with "finger glove"! But some are "thumby" and catch by just moving thumb to the rest if palm! NOW...REAL catchers and have the load "pop" even with old relaced mitt catch using a "cupping" of the other fingers thats cayse by natural way the hand closes when pressure (ball hitting pocket) is apply to the hand! They also type that dont "squeeze" mitt on foulballs..cause they let the ball start the closing action amd that cant happen if ball never hits the mitt!
