Yes I have worked on a few of those old military trucks electrical system is absolute nightmare multiple places for issues in same system enjoy

My love affair with the the Green Toy is over. Way over-engineered with one off stuff. Around here,50 yrs ago, they went with AWD crane carrier chassis with forward control 15 yd cement mixer rigs on them, top speed is 60 mph. See em on the highway bombing right along with traffic.The cement is time sensitive and won't pass a test if in transit too long. Put a wrecker on that chassis using parts Rodney deals with. Way cheaper than that monster. Let the Toy remain a 4X6 😎

the Green Toy is one of the best toys to have with lots of parts and manuals out there and at good prices too. an AWD would be hard to get parts for and hard to find books on it too. thansk

Does the Green Toy have an interlock rear axle. I have worked on ones from the 50s and 60s that had an air over hydraulic interlock. It would move the pinion shaft away from the ring gear on a slip yoke . That one is newer, so I am not sure it's the same. Thanks King 🤴 for another great video .

i know a few years ago we did a quick look and did not see anything to lock in the axle unless maybe those lines were removed during the filming to cause drama. thansk

It sounds like those Hollywood types were a Holy Terror to your equipment. I'd keep them away if they came around my little corner of the world. Decoration Day: I didn't go to the cemetery and pay respects to the soldiers who gave their last full measure of devotion to give us our freedom. Instead I watched a 2hour episode of The War Room, and got a pretty good education on it. That axle doesn't sound quite right, better investigate. OK, carry on and we'll watch again soon. ben/ michigan
