Even though I don't agree with the decision this still makes me miss the days where battles were judged. I don't think Eurgh was right by saying "crowds maybe ain't as accepting as we thought...". They accepted him and enjoyed his performance but they just thought Twist took the battle. They boo'd the decision, not Eurgh as a rapper. Why am i typing this 4 years after? I'm done.

so watching this battle I'm a huge Kid Twist fan, honestly I've seen all of his battles but I mean even though I'm biased I can still say that Eurgh won this. KT's third round was amazing compared to Eurgh's was but if you break it down over performance, stage presence, flips, flow, and whether they had a "K.O." line, it goes to Eurgh.

He gets the Thesaurus treatment...has been so good for so long to the point that he literally built a league (KOTD was built on Twist's back after the WRC's) that people get bored of it. I don't get it. Kid Twist is back to back to back crazy. Eurgh made this a classic battle that I go to 4 years later...but Kid Twist won this battle....

I am from New Zealand therefore completely unbiased based on my geographical location. This is one of the best battles I have ever seen. Both went in hard with some intelligent and original wordplay. Both had amazing rebuttles. I thought Twist had greater complexity and Eurgh had more impact. This one deserved overtime for sure.... not being able to I have to give the slight edge to Eurgh.... like SK said.... his seamless integration of rebuttles and freestyles was outstanding. EPIC battle

see the thing i love about this event...they voted right on this one, though it would have been easy to throw it to kid twist on this, especially with him going last...but if kid twist had stepped up his last verse he really could have taken this one..but eurgh had more personals and flips to start rounds, which i personally love...eurgh had more well rounded verses and despite them sleeping on this verses for crowd reaction, he was more dominant with freestyles and writtens mixed with personals

Yes they do, but they only use it when they can't tell the difference between two very similar (in our mind) American accents. For example, a Brit may not be able to tell the difference between a Texan and Alabama accent, and some Americans may not be able to tell the difference between Cockney and general Southern English

And I was more so, responding to your remark " especially in Canada" which as I said before lumps all of Canada and all competitions held here into one catagory or "spot". The judges did their jobs and I agree with their decision.
