I have seen several of his net battles now and his rebuttle game is on level with Kid Twist, illmac and Saurus. Reverse live has strong presence and intensity on stage like Diz. They both got fire pen games.

Only One has been on songs with Inspectah Deck, Sean Price, Tech-9, and Crooked I… and he had the best verses on all those songs. There's a reason why he's been Illmac's fav rapper since 8 years back. Def a dope battle though, Only One 2-1.

+Nate Ioriatti You dumb as hell. Illmac is the KOTD champion and (arguably) the #1 writer in battle rap history. On the music tip he's among the most successful battle rappers ever. And EVERY single time he's collaborated with a legendary rapper, he's called his homie Only to be on it too. Hmm… why's that? And hell yeah, Only had the best verse on ALL THOSE songs, he outshone all of them, including illmac! Made them seem basic. Which means quite a fucking lot. Dude been touring around the world, too. All his (~15) other rap battles are clear wins, this one vs Reverse is the only debatable one. So please, name 10 active battle rappers with "resumes" more impressive. :)

(As I've said many times before) Reverse Live is a fucking BEAST. Good Lord, dude was blacking out! This is the first battle I've seen of Only One, and his shit was crazy too. He needs a little work with the performance aspect (he was a little dry with his delivery), but dude is definitely KOTD-ready as-is. No exaggerating, this was definitely one of the best battles of 2015 in my eyes (and right in the nick of time!). If I had to pick a winner, it'd be Reverse Live (not by much), but Only One won too, because he won a fan. Much respect to both these guys!

+TheSaurusWins was toss up for me between this one and your battle with Fresco. Been a battlerap fan since 06' after I saw you vs Subverse. Was already a fan of Sandpeople(Redshield/Bad Neighbors) then Illmac joined them shortly after winning scribble and I was stoked the merging of the top battle scene and my fav underground coab group. Having heard Only on prolly like 100 tracks I couldn't help but think "this guy could tear up the battle scene". When he was grind time battling he left a trail of bodies leading up to facing vets like Cadi Ron and even Tantrum. I think if he keeps battling regularly his timing/crowd reading (his only weakness if you can call it that) will quickly become polished then even top vets would fall to his pen. Big fan of your work(even your music). Gonna stop now before this gets any more "Stanish".

The Only reason Reverse Live isn't considered top tier is because he doesn't perform as often -- it clearly isn't his main hustle, and he isn't the main tournaments -- he wasn't part of the GZ GPs or the original 2013 GP but clearly had the resume to qualify. He's always been good enough to be a major draw, he just hasn't been jockeying for it, and KOTD is only recognizing it now.

Reverse's 2nd and 3rd top 10 KOTD verses of the year. His closer in the 3rd was fucking classic -- he's always been my favorite, and secretly top 5 KOTD and top 3 West Coast. Only One has gotten a lot better than when he was on Grind Time. His multis were always good but his punches were so drawn out. He seems to have simplified his setups to punches and now his rebuttal game on point. He could be a real problem if he battles more regularly. 2-1 edge to Only One, and I fuxx with Reverse Live too.
