What ever happened to skinnypimp?I know he use to fuck with 3 6 mafia back in the day in the late 90'a and early 2000's then he started beefing with them.I use to have one of his albums rap dope game 2000.I think he didnt get enough recognition. He was really slept on cuz of orher Memphis rappers were gettin bigger than skipimp like 8 ball and Mjg,3 6 mafia,dj squeeky, project pat,and yo gotti was starting to rap at the tinder age of 15 years old.Along time ago.Skinny pimp was just as good as all the other rappers from Memphis.Give this man his flowers. ✌.

I agree he probably out there chilling. He made money from 36 and his solo projects.

Skinny left Prophet like a lot of other guys bcoz the money wasn't right. He put out other albums, but it didn't hit as hard bcoz the production wasn't that good, imo. There were a few diss records about Dj Paul. But he didn't really regain the popularity he had under Paul and Juice. The only rapper that did well after leaving them was Fly and maybe Blac

He's a great rapper, sure, but without DJ Paul and Juicy J production he's nothing. That's why this album is so good, the killer combination: great rapper plus good production which complements his style. If the music is shit, the rapping is shit. The same happened with other rappers whose albums were produced by 3-6 mafia, like that Indo G record or Lil Wyte's sophomore album
