Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if BTC rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is BTC breaks 100k, perhaps reaches 140k ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think there’s massive manipulation ahead. If BTC survives that, well, we’re likely in for a good windfall. But it won’t be smooth sailing getting there. Stay strong...

I'm baffled that the folks who enlisted his aid hadn't figured out how to back-up their wallet's seed words and store them securely. Okay, you forgot your PIN -- reset your device (or buy a new one) and restore from your saved seed words. Sure, it doesn't make for an interesting and impressive hardware hacking video, but it also keeps you from potentially losing $2 million. Yes, we all make mistakes, but this seems to be an all-too-common one.
@DevinDTV2 жыл бұрын
I think people in general have this misconception that the hardware wallet "stores your cryptos", but in reality the hardware wallet is just a safe way to utilize your private keys to make transactions. The actual place your cryptos should be "stored" is in your brain -- by memorizing your seed. It's really not that hard. It took me about 15 minutes to memorize my primary 24 word seed. And, yeah, it may be prudent to stamp the seed into a piece of metal and store it somewhere safe.

Because of the nontrivial appreciation of most crypto over the past decade many people had made small investments that didn't justify great forethought that then turned into life changing assets while they weren't paying attention.

Yeah, it's one thing to lose a few hundred, or even a few thousand dollars. But how do you have 2 mil stashed somewhere, and not back up your security? Unless is was a couple hundred, and turned into a couple million. That could explain it. Not that there's an excuse for not securing $200. But it's infinitely more forgivable than being that lazy and irresponsible with 2 million dollars.

@@WeBuild4Life Well, to be fair, there's only about a handful of people on the planet that have the knowledge, expertise, and equipment to do this kind of thing. Most hardware wallets are also easy to wipe in the case that they're stolen, so a thief isn't going to have months to research and prep a hardware glitch. The very best part of hacking IMO is the euphoric feeling you get when you break the device, developing the hack is part of the adventure, you really have to be creative, and enjoy frustration, there will be a lot of that, so many different approaches taken, so many dead ends found, but my favorite is when I do something unexpected and I get a NFW! that shouldn't work!
