I was absolutely obsessed with this tune from the moment I heard it out in Camden Palace with Orange in '91. Nothing else sounded like this one at the time. Proper brutal killer track!

Joey Beltrum’s Mentasm sounded very much like this. Think that came out in 91 as well.

Glenn Wilson and Tony De Vit purchased the music rights for this tune off doc scott and used the hoover sound in are you all ready. They actually paid the guy upfront to prevent being sued, they made an absolute killing.

@@Em82star Your coverage and understanding of each style is well refined (as in you know them all and have fine tuned your standards in taste). When you listen through music you interlace the 70s/80s old stuff with the exact same modern stuff i've listened to for 20 years. Its bazaar! Where'd you get your soul, reggae, jazz from? Never heard alot of that.

@prestigious5s235 ай бұрын
Not a rip off, they just sampled it. That's how everyone worked back then. Sampling is awesome! Love it when people chop up riffs to create a new riff. Producers could so crafty doing this. Liam Howlett was a genius at sampling.
