Kings Dominion WinterFest 2023 - Doswell, Virginia

Excellent overview of Kings Dominion's version of Winterfest. I feel slighted by Beater Fair, as they seem to have stripped Winterfest at Carowinds down over the years. I still haven't been through the entire park yet, and it's still early on, so hopefully they will continue to add more lights and decorations. The singing mushrooms cracked me up! I never watch the shows, but they all looked pretty fun. I love how ice skating is located right by the lit trees. The hot chocolate deal is always nice, but Busch Gardens and SeaWorld do it best, imo. They charge more for the refills, but you get their flavored hot chocolates. We had fun with the santa letter this year. 😂😂😂 I also really liked the overlays they had on the restaurants and rides, especially the driving one. Pretty impressive. The food at Kings Dominion looks much better than what they had at Carowinds. Sorry for the delay. We have been on the road since August, with only 2 weekends off. I'm pretty beat up right now, but will catch up on all your videos. Hope you are enjoying the holiday season!!🎅

Kings Dominion is a great way to get a Christmas show. The winterfest Eiffel Tower lights are cool. I really like that the ice skating was not too crowded. Fun offering of turkey or ham dinner and more.... Thanks for the festive video. Cheers👍

We enjoyed the visit to the Winterfest Festival, Jack. Great to see Dave again too! Fun to see all the characters on hand. But, what? No Grinch? 😁😁 Loved seeing some of the shows. Also love that they have a Blue Ridge Tollway. Love the play on one of our favorite drives. We don't drink alcohol, but would love to drink Hot Chocolate for such a great cause! It's wonderful they have a Nativity and show with the true meaning of Christmas. Your meal looked delicious, which is good, because we have a lot of left overs to work on from Thanksgiving! 🤣🤣Thanks so much for bringing us along, Jack, Alice and Dave.

Looks like a fun time! We didn't get season passes to Kings Dominion this year so I doubt we make it to WinterFest. Appreciate you sharing all the festivities. The 12 days of Christmas on the antique cars is always a favorite of mine. The singing mushrooms look sharp with the Santa hats. The lights looked beautiful. Wonderful job covering Winterfest!

Steve and I watched this on the tv but I had to come back to comment. Winterfest looks great! The animatronic show is adorable! I'd let the moose lead my sleigh any day!! Santa Snoopy must be busy during this tine of the year, we saw him at Knotts Merry Farm a few years ago. The shows and food look great and I love that the rides get a bit of Christmas magic. The horse-drawn carriages look fun. Another place to add to our list for one of these days! Thank you for taking us along.

It’s officially Christmas when your channel starts the Christmas themed video. They went all out. But I’m surprised they only have 1 indoor show considering how cold it can get. I would all about the free re-fill cocoa - such a great idea where everyone wins. Rosalie and Melissa would all be about the animals. The Boys did a great job filming.

I would have absolutely loved to come across this when I was a kid! i think this year really should be a time where we go all out for the festivities and turn everything into a winter wonderland, it brings a bit of joy to all our lives for a couple of months during an otherwise cold and bleak time!
