A lot of the newer players have an obsession with being 'professional' and 'respectful', forgetting that we're essentially playing a child's party game, and at the end of the day we're all in this for fun. So they prefer Prog and DI's sterile, dull commentary over people with a decent sense of humour having a good time

LeaderOfTheRedNinjas D1 and Prog's commentary is great in it's own way. I think it's important to appreciate many different kinds of commentary, whether they're serious or not. I agree though; people obsess about "professionalism" more then they should.

I would say newer, less experience players generally prefer DI/Prog whereas older players that know a lot of the references enjoy Scar/Toph/Mango etc.

I swear the name for SSBM should now be called "Super Smash Fox, Falco, Marth And Shiek Brothers"... I say that because it's the truth. No offense, but seeing those same four characters all of the time gets pretty annoying fast, in my opinion. I also like how when someone chose to be Mario and Donkey Kong, two characters that aren't space animals or a blue haired guy or a lady in drag for once, everyone was all like, "If he plays as Donkey Kong, I'm out"... It's kind of sad, really XP Great commentary, by the way! I almost forget to even mention that! Scar was always my favorite, and he still is. And sadly, I never tried a Red Bull before... I plan on changing that thanks to Scar! :D
