@srhrafael83903 жыл бұрын
Funny you mentioned Coldplay vibes, I consistently got that throughout the whole album, mainly 2 things: some of the chords used remind me majorly of early Coldplay, and also Matt’s synths used on this record remind me of X&Y era Coldplay. Of course, Markus Dravs has produced this album and Coldplay in the past, but the era of Coldplay that comes to mind for me is pre-Markus (I think). So cool you hear the same thing though!

I loved KOL since I was in High School. I love how their music takes me away every time I hear it. It’s otherworldly, and a dreamscape for me. I feel hopeful when I close my eyes and listen. This is by far my favourite album. It makes me feel reminiscent of things that haven’t happened yet. My wife and I are having a baby girl. She is our first. I am so happy to have been blessed with both of my girls. My wife and I have been together for 3 years but it feels like I knew her for a life time. We thought that we could never conceive. Each time we tried , we failed. I felt the pull between us each time we failed. Each time we gained a little hope it made it so much harder for us. We almost gave up hope. Until, we one day we received a call. The voice on the other line told us we are going to be parents. Hearing this album for the first time, and closing my eyes while listening I am taken away. I am reminded that their is always hope. I am taken away to a dream where I can see myself happy. I can’t wait to meet my baby girl and show her the world and how beautiful it is to be a part of it. I am definitely going to take her on drive and put this album on and remind her that she will always be our miracle. That their is always good out there. Thank you KOL.

There not enough words nor in English nor in Spanish -which is my mother tongue - to correctly convey how much the music of these four geniuses mean for me. That melancholic guitar that sounds behind Caleb's beautiful vocals is simply heavenly. It makes me feel so many things at the same time: joy, thankfulness, peace, a kind of soft melancholy that, somehow, soothes my Soul. Just thank you so much for all these years of beautiful music: from that southern rock of your first albums, to this masterpieces of alternative/experimental music. Simply geniuses
