Mechanical Bull was an AWESOME album. I’m sick of people bitching and complaining that “they’ve changed”. News flash: everybody changes over the course of 19, 20 years. And if you don’t, it’s safe to say you’re stuck in a state of arrested development. They are artists. And art reflects ones’ life. Their lives are not the same as they were 20 yrs. ago, and that’s a GOOD thing. They’re proper adults now, with wives and children, families of their own. And their art reflects that. AND IT SOUNDS PHENOMENAL. Stop moaning and mourning about the past. And enjoy and appreciate what I consider to be the last great, pure, distilled, unique, immensely gifted rock and roll band to have emerged in our current lifetimes. Rock is dying. Hip hop and rap are the rock and roll of this generation, of these times. I love rap. But it’s true that rock and roll bands are a dying breed. These guys are helping keep rock alive. And I for one appreciate the hell out of them, and love their music. Let’s just appreciate them for what they continue to give us, without constantly comparing them to what they’ve given us in the past. Not to forget, their live shows are still incredible. INCREDIBLE. The old music is great, the new music is great, and I’m thankful that when it comes to KOL, rock and roll is alive and well.

Because it's true, back in the day their success took off in the UK first, this is where it all started for them and the band has said before that if it wasn't for their success in the UK and then Europe, their record company would have dropped them without hesitation because at the time the US was kind of blanking them.

They must get sick of every British interviewer reminding them how they made it big in the UK first and forcing the “uk fans are your best fans” kinda thing 😬😅

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of KOL all the way back to their first E.P. but their interviews generally come across awkward and/or boring. This is one of the better that I've seen. Big fan of their music. Just an observation. (But I'm no Isaac Newton, so...)
