I feel like Kings Of Leon are still one of the most underrated bands of all time. I mean I know they got loads of attention around Only By The Night but they deserve much better. The sheer number of great songs they have isn't even in comprehension with some other bands these days, annoys me that (as much as I like Dave Grohl) Foo Fighters get more credit than KOL but are really just mediocre.

Well there is no way that KOL are more significant than Foo Fighters. I honestly love both, but I can see where the current difference is coming from. But I also agree that KOL deserves so much more credit than they're currently getting.

For starters, Foo fighters are in no way mediocre. Secondly, I do agree that KOL are criminally underrated. Pre 'sex on fire' was my favourite era, a ha shake heartbreak always my favourite album but they're still a great band today knocking out great tunes.

+Luis Suarez I actually attended one of these (the Avett Bros.). The front 5-6 rows on all sides are for friends/family of the corporate sponsors, most seem to not even know the bands. Actual fans get the back rows, but it's pretty contained by the ushers because the filming/productions is so extensive. Fun, but nothing like a real concert.

No, I've been to see Arctic Monkeys on Seth Myers with a bunch of friends and they threatened us with being immediately booted out if we even thought about getting wild. We had been given passes in because we were fans by their staff, but didn't realize that we had been given them until after the fact and had to get in on standby. So we were at the dead back and the security guards were threatening us with anything and everything. Threatening us before we even made a move. Their security staff are absolute assholes and that's why these crowds are this way. It's a damn shame.

I went to Fred Meyers today and they were out of the "Mechanical Bull" but they had two other cds of theirs, I grabbed their cd: "Only By the night"! ***** That's okay. I just see a line between their first two album (maybe their third) where they had long hair, wild songs and rock&rolled. Since then their music kind of changed to a less rock&roll format, maybe even radio orientated pop sound, which I don't like as much as the old work. Before this album came out, they said this album would be more of an album like their old ones. Of course it doesn't, these are all just catchy songs, which is fine, but I just hoped they would rock again.
