I was only 4 or 5 when this came out, my brother use to play it back then, now I’m 56 and have been listening to it for the past 36 years after I discovered it again.

This song has been cocooned in my memory since I was a kid in school in the early '70s. I heard it on the radio one morning before school, it's stayed with me ever since. Thanks Graham Goble for this memorable song and for posting it. :)

Chris Flannery brought me here, but i stayed for the music and the Sharpie culture. How did we not hear this song before Underbelly in the UK? Superb man.

Incredible vocalist - LRBs most talented member by far. He wrote great songs, played beautiful 🎸guitar and sung magnificent harmony vocals.

Some years ago I was watching a French drama set in a high class Parisian brothel of the 19th century. At a particular scene this song played and I recognised it as a song of my youth, but couldn’t recall who the band was. Some internet research gave me the answers. But according to Wikipedia the song got to no 7 in Aust but nothing overseas, so how on hell it made it into a French TV program I don’t know. The scene in particular the song was the absolute perfect fit, and actually added real value to the scene and not just mere accompaniment. For those that are interested the program is called Maison Close and the song features in episode one.

The birth of LRB,with the brilliant song writing skills and lead vocalist Graeham Goble, beeb Birtles, & drummer Derek Pellicci. Such a beautiful song to listen to. Brings back memories in 72 watching them perform in front of my fellow school mates at Preston Technical College!!

Make way for the swimming naked girl.... Sorry, this sounded great. Just a funny bit of footage, an old fella in a tie playing violin, a huge crowd and sound, and a girl taking a dip. Gdluck to everybody

Hi Graeham, just wondering if you would mind tabbing the intro. I do a single note version but can’t quite discern the sliding chords. This song haunts me in a very good way - ethereal and timeless. World class. Like you new song. Just listened to it.
