It was solid, but I don't see how anyone could possibly be betting worse for less than a min-raise check jam on the river. It would be an all time awful bluff and a super weak flush is never going for that value raise - they're just shrug calling.

So, I popped by the Peppermill last week Wed morning, saw Big Ben waiting for a game to get going, said ‘hey’, and proceeded to jump into a new game that was just started (lower stakes). Full table and most of the players bought in for 300-400(max), except one regular who said that someone on another same stakes table has a 720 stack, so they wanted to buy in for the max stack of 720. Dealer said OK. Question: Isn’t the “Max stack buy-in rule” typically based on the stacks at the table, and not across multiple same stake tables? Seemed unusual.
