Davey was just twenty-two at the time, already jacked, and a heckuva talent. Dynamite was always known as the "technician" of the two, and rightfully so. Given Vince's obsession with larger-than-life characters in the WWF, I believe his height and sadly lackluster mic skills held him back. Though just 5'8", at around 230 pounds, he was anything but small, coupled with insane agility. You also cannot discredit Davey's technical in-ring skills. It wasn't until the early 90s during his singles run, after he bulked another twenty pounds, that he became mostly known as a powerhouse. While I liked the look, I actually prefer his more agile ring work, with his strength as a supplement, rather than the focus. If not for his addictions, I believe he could have had it all in wrestling. RIP Bulldogs

Agreed , they were an anomaly in North American wrestlers ...short guy ass kickers . Dynamite was 5'7-8" and Davey only two inches taller ...not the 6'2" of most dominant tag teams .

AIRMASTER77 you're right there. Too much emphasis on the talkers. Ric flair, hogan or HBL the goat? Give me dynamite jushin liger or Bret Hart any time. Dynamite is criminally overlooked because apparently he wasn't the nicest person. Who gives a fuck he is the greatest pro wrestler I've ever seen. Without him wrestling would still be 2 old fat guys grunting for 30mins.

これはブルドッグスが衝撃の全日移籍をしてからまだ間もない頃の試合ですね。 84年の年末に新日のシリーズ参加選手としてすでにブルドッグスは発表されていたのに、直後、全日の最強タッグに鞍替え。 あれはファンもまったく予想外の引き抜きだったから、ほんとに驚いた。

@@maruhiroya417 ちなみにこのリング池尻のジャパンプロレスの道場から栗栖ジムに受け継がれてます。露橋の FMWの旗揚げ戦でもこのリングが使われていると思われます。構造は当時の新日本プロレスのリングと同じ物だと思われますが。
