My personal favorite is in n out and i know King thinks its overrated but I have my reasons. In n out is very affordable roughly $8 for a double cheeseburger combo and its made with fresh ingredients and is very clean tasting. I never feel bloated or gross after eating it and its always very satisfying no matter what location you go to. I think five guys just tastes incredibly mediocre and honestly tastes like a burger made at home. I think its also very dependent on the location you go to. A five guys opened right down the street from my house and I gave it another chance since I haven’t had it in a long time and it was easily the worst five guys i’ve ever had.

I actually used to work at 5 guys for a long time and you are very correct about consistency. If you have a bad crew, the burgers will be dry af and not very good. I’m telling you tho sir, I could’ve whipped you up a 5 guys burger that would’ve changed your life, lol!

I feel the exact same about in n out. The freshness of ingredients, classic taste, and at it’s price point?? It’s unbeatable. It’s almost always incredibly satisfying. I will say though I have had bad experiences. Probably new cooks but more often than not, it’s great

Living in Los Angeles, burger spots are easy to find. You could find a hood burger spot with a drive thru that would blow out commercial spots. Louie burger in Compton, hawkings house in watts. Tommy’s famous chili burgers. Islands burgers is a solid commercial burger spot I like from high school days.

My daughter doordashed 5 guys and made them all triples when we were visiting DC. After walking all day i was STARVING, and that burger was so good. I truly think they are the #1 burger place hands down. Now ima have to get me one again.

Nothing beats In-N-Out when it comes to the freshness, taste, portion and price. I can legit get 4 cheeseburgers or 2 double double animal styled cheese burgers for the price of just 1. I do agree it taste good, but naw not worth.

Disagree. In-N-Out is a good fast food burger but you get what you pay for. 1) The Fries are terrible at In-N-Out. Just terrible! 2) I rather pay 20 dollars for a great burger and fries instead of 10-12 for a good fast food burger and awful fries.

Cookout is good here. They have good cajun fries too. But it's fast food. I got a double burger at a Dennys once that I literally could not eat because it was large and in charge. Very tasty. I'm a big boy too, my normal bk order is a double whopper.

5 guys is my fav because I can pile it high with my favorite toppings: mushrooms, pickles, lettuce, peppers, bacon...and it's all the same price. My husband only likes a hamburger with just meat and cheese. No ketchup or anything, so not as worth it for him. But hey, more burger for me. And their fries are the best. We always do a double order.

I had five guys once and it wasn't very memorable, tbh. The cajun fries were really good tho. Red Robin's Royal Red Robin burger is my favorite burger. Hands down. I use bbq sauce instead of ketchup too. Ketchup is prolly one of my least favorite condiments.
