No company should create products, especially computers, that are not easily upgradable, merely to charge exorbitant prices for upgraded versions. To upgrade the M4 Mac Mini from 16GB RAM and 256GB storage to 32GB RAM and 512GB storage, one would have to pay nearly the equivalent of the price of a new base M4 Mac Mini. What does that imply? That the rest of the components in the computer cost nothing to justify such an upgrade price? Apple’s greed is excessive, and one day it could lead to their downfall. The EU should step in on this issue again.
