28 - How to Make a Wooden Longsword That Really Works!

My daughters were going to the local Renaissance Festival, and my youngest wanted a sword. So, I decided to make her one.
This project is made from maple, with an African padauk inlay, and wenge & redheart for the cross guard and pommel.
It is a pretty simple project and should provide a lot of fun for all woodworkers, both highly experienced and new!
