Would you believe that during the latter half of this movie, Noctis is snoozing through all this in a hotel at the Galdin Quay? He literally slept through his dad’s murder and the fall of his own kingdom. This movie may not have anything to do with the game’s story at all yet the game did show where he was during a specific time of the movie.

@@TheHiddenBoss Regis knew something wasn't right about the "peace treaty" he just didn't know exactly what would happen. He needed noctis safe and so he sent him, prompto, ignis and gladio off away from the city. Noctis had no idea about regis' death and insomnia's fall until it was in the papers.
