I love this song. It reminds me of my dear friend n sister in CHRIST that just crossed over while ago. We use to sing it together in church. Rest easy my dear sister Donna. You will surely be missed. Love you ❤

I could listen to that ending all night! Actually, I have listened to it over and over tonight...and this is not the first time I discovered the video either! Josh has an amazing tenor voice and really held that note, Bob and Randy did a fine job of balancing it out, then Ray Dean sliding on the the end. Man! Ray has still got it!

The Kingsmen:Big and Live, was where that song came from. That Album came out, I believe, in 1973. The singers on that Album were- Ray Dean Reese-Bass Singer. Eldridge Fox-Baritone Singer. Jim Hamill-Lead Singer and Emcee. Johnny Parrack-Tenor Singer. Ain't no Southern Gospel group complete, without a Tenor Singer. Y'know...one of them guys, that looks like a Man, but that sings really high, like a Girl...or a Woman! Anyway -That just brought back some great memories. Now the years have gone on by, and both Jim Hamill and Eldridge Fox have both died. Johnny's gettin' up, probably not too far from 80 years old, and Ray Dean Reese is like 84-85 years old, now. I appreciate everything they did for us.

Nope!!!! Nope!!!! Nope!!!! I Love this quartet but the soprano singer does not have those high notes. They have incredible range and can sing circles around me but you have to find a female soprano lead to hit those higher notes. Love y’all and the message but Please Find a woman soprano lead!!!! Squealing ain’t singing!

With all my respect to your point of view, tenors in Southern Gospel music usually sound like this. Is something common and i don't think this kind of style will change any time soon.

FIRST TENOR is not the same as soprano. Your comment depicts an incomplete understanding of the topic.
