@@Ser_tified Thanks bro glad you liked it. As for an upgrade, It would definitely depend on your size. IMO... If your tall or thick like me above 200lbs or 6ft I would say the Monster, which is what I went with. Anyone smaller I would say the 100volt MSX (or MSP high speed edition). Its too low for me ( I like to sit) but a great 18in powerful wheel. I am testing the MSP (Range model) right now but it doesn't have high speed capability.

Great review.👍 Despite being late in the game, your review held value for me. Your delivery, energy/enthusiasm and rider weight category is making you one of the better EUC Vloggers for me too watch. The only thing I would like to see from a heavier rider such as yourself on new wheel reviews is take it up the biggest hill in your area. Almost everyone has one of those streets in their areas where you see cyclists always walking up😂. Oh, and maybe some on screen riding stats. You got me thinking maybe I should change my MSP order to the 16x. I love the styling and trolley handle over the MSP. In the end, I decided I want that 18" wheel for the smoother ride on my commute to work and the torque offered by the MSP for when I need it offroading. I will need to look to mod the disappointing trolley handle of the MSP. Looking forward to more. Cheers

I had a cutout a month ago on my mten3. I'm 6"2" 240. I was at about 35% I got carried away and punched it, next thing I knew pedals leaned forward hard and I was on the asphalt. Messed up my left knee. Nerve damage the doctor said. Numb on the left side. Dr said will take about 6 months to heal. I can still ride thank God. I learned my lesson. Gotta slow down like you said under 50%. Peace. Steve from mass.

Hi BC, you are about as big as a pro wrestler and I'm not as big as you but I'm getting up there. I got my 16x about 3 weeks ago and I love it. I agree with everything you said about how the motor and battery are perfectly matched. I moved into the 16x from a Tesla v2 with its thinner tire. I thought the 16x was very squirrelly at first but now I'm used to it. Ironically enough I can turn way sharper and easier on the 16x with its 3 in tire vs Tesla's two and a quarter inch-ish tire. Anyway, great video on the 16x I hope there's more to come!

Riding seated on this wheel is amazing. Being able to ride above 35 mph seated has been nuts. I’m loving it. It is taking me a little bit of time to get used to the monster though

Hey BC question hows you test range with you weith in this EUC driving average spped 15 mph

With the 16 X going 15 miles an hour at my weight I can get about 40 to 50 miles out of the wheel however I don’t really like riding that wheel when it gets low on power so I would only do probably 30 before I charged it

Erwin I loved the 16X and wanted it so bad just on looks alone, so stealthy looking that was until the innovation of suspension on Inmotion's V11 & KingSongs S18, so for now Im going to wait even longer until I hear reviews from either you, or the community, especially on the V11 this is the wheel that attracts my eye, my Mojo, And maybe even my $$...lol once its released. But for now I think the smarter action is to wait, watch, & listen. Before I make the purchase. Great video Erwin power to you. 😜👍✌

Thanks for sharing this man! I'm also a heavier rider (220 pounds all kitted) and it's nice to know it's a workable ride. I'm upgrading from a Ninebot One S2 soon so it's currently between this 16X and the Gotway MSP.. because as attractive as the S18 is I don't think I can wait months for it.

I think height is also a factor. I find sitting on the MSX is uncomfortable on the knees as well. If your looking for for speed however GotWay is the move.

@@ThaBlackCobra Yeah, speed isn't a massive thing for me here in Queensland, Australia. We technically have a 25km/h (15mph) limit on our speed so the 16X will more than satisfy my needs there.

16X can do it but at 220 you should probably get a bigger wheel. This won’t be the one for you IMO

I didn't hear any talk about the firmware. I've had a lot of trouble with this wheel. So much so that I'm sending it in for repairs. I'm pretty freaked out by it because it never warned me before it cutout and so my trust for it has definitely gone down. I've never upgraded from my firmware V1.05 however I'm considering trying out v1.07 If it means it will make it safer even if it throttles me at 50% battery. I still love the feel of this wheel and I'm glad I spoiled myself by learning how to ride on it.

Even with all of the rumors and chatter about firmware I have never had an issue. I update as needed and I have never had to go backwards

The 16x is a commuting chill wheel. I'm almost at 3000 miles on it. New board. Nikola tire. New handle. Life sensor is shot. One led strip is gone. It's been through a lot. But it has its place. I still prefer MSX for riding around for fun. But for commuting it's a good wheel it has a great handle but for NYC riding its not there. Then again NPS so their is a different standard with us.

Got a 16X as a first wheel. I can 2nd what you said in the video. Speed demons? go away. Take your wheel to a MTB hard track and try it out. :P This 16X gives me most in mid range and beyond. Its something that takes you there, and back home. Period! Its with me everywhere. Dentist and shops, wherever inside look at it with some fun look, but its there. with me. confident and strong. Its still 2020, and being an icon. :-)

still one of the best, and PROVEN at this point. Ive owned a lot of wheels including the AR Nikola+, Sherman, V12, s18, V11. I JUST bought a 16x because I wanted something simple, easy to fix, reliable, and wanted the LEDs and speakers. I'm happy with the 16x. it's a sleeper in 2022 but with these new wheels popping up at 3k+ with problems the 16x is a solid buy still in 2022. Reports the v12 HT STILL has issues. Sure the screen is nice on the v12, but imagine a crash where it gets banged up. $200 to replace along with a ton of hours taking everything a part. My iwatch gives me the same information and I dont have to look down. I loved all my wheels but the 16x is just a wheel I seem to feel zen with, I can trust it.
