I have the s16pro- I get compliments all the time at night plus its visible at night. My fav wheel by far and its quick acceleration.

Yes i agree its my fav so far, still waiting for my falcon. Its fast. It makes the v12ht feel so slow. Reminds me of a big mten4. But that trolley handle needs work its almost useless. When u compare it to 16x or s18. What psi are you using on your tire?

Voltage sag is an issue on the S18 with the stock 1110 wh pack. The S18 optional 903 wh Molicel P42A pack has less voltage sag than the 16X or 18XL 1554 wh pack, despite only having 60 cells instead of 120 cells (P42A cells are high current cells). As for acceleration and braking, an 18 in tire will require the rider exert about 12% more torque onto the EUC than a 16 in tire to get the same amount of acceleration or braking. I woudln't recommend power pads on an S18 with the 1110 wh pack, due to the voltage sag (overlean or cutout). Tire width on S18 was supposed to be 3 inches, but due to tire rub, they reduced it to about 2.75 inches, but it may be back to 3 inches on later models. I bought an 18XL V2, which includes spiked pedals and power pad protrusions on the upper pads. The spiked pedals appear to be 3-d printed pedals (thin coat of black paint over white material: my hiking boots have metal eyelets which put small scratches in the pedals trying to lift them up. I touched up the small scratches so they are not visible now, and now lift the pedals by hand). Those S16 pedals may be the same. I don't know if there will be a 16X V2. 18XL V2 weighs 53 lbs, and the low pedals result in a very stable ride. The private streets near my home are cambered quite a bit, but not an issue with the narrow 2.5 inch wide tire on the 18XL V2. Could be an issue with a wider tire.

have you considered buying the s19/pro ? why did you pick s16

i did, but didn't like that the trolley handle is non-existent. i use my trolley handle a lot especially going into stores and restaurants. I like smaller wheels for portability and I'm light weight rider. this wheel is more than half my weight, but its so balanced you don't feel it. The S19 has pretty much the same specs except the battery is bigger and bigger wheel.
