people act like this is only an s22 problem, however this will happen on any wheel if you lean hard enough

Exactley. This was pure ryders fault, Not a problem with the wheel. Bunnyslipper has the weight and power to overpower every wheel. Becouse of the angle the video is shot you can not realy tel how hard he was leaning but i was riding and filming nexst to him and i can tell you that he was leaning heavy and accelerating verry quick. (wanted to show off)

@@EUCLimburg Yep, not good technique for pushing the limits of the wheel; It's the lazy / risky way. Leaning the upper body far forward like that is using a person's heavy torso and sharper forward lean over a longer distance (easier) to set the body's center of gravity far ahead of the wheel, using gravity to help push on the front pads and pedals. With how high and far ahead the center of gravity is, there's little leverage to suddenly pull the upper body and all its weight back from that position to decelerate. When the wheel can't maintain balance and starts to tilt forward due to lack of acceleration, the heavy torso wants to continue forward so it rotates forward and down, accelerating against gravity, now making it impossible to pull back against the force. Once the wheel starts to tilt forward, you're done; there's no saving it. Better technique is to pushing the knees and hips forward to put weight on the pads and toes, while keeping the torso pulled back and closer to vertical so that there isn't much weight at the top of the lever and where you still have leverage to quickly pull back. It'll take pushing the knees forward and toes down hard to accelerate hard, but decelerating is a simple matter of pushing back on the heel to straighten up the legs and take off forward pressure. Way easier and faster to correct, but takes more effort over a shorter bodily movement. If the wheel does start to tilt in this position, it's not throwing your upper body forward and down. It's pulling your lower body forward, while your upper body may actually pivot back.

The damage cause a major cosmetic issue. Spent another 500 on parts. Kept the batteries and motherboard. Crash was Feb 2021, and since then no crash and still riding with the same batteries and motherboard. I stopped going over 40 mph. That 40-45 range is sketchy...well, for me. They need to make a new motherboard/chip at lets you stay at 45mph max without a cutout. As in, it won't let you go past 45 based on limitation setting. If you know what I mean. My Sherman 2nd gen this holding strong as my daily. I've taken it apart like 20 times. lol.

@@Dropp383 first and foremost, I understand what you mean and I am glad that you are ok but also, could you imagine the Sherman got caught underneath the car and was dragged? There is a reason why motorcycle riders are not attached to the motorcycle. It can snap your spine or your neck. I don’t know how it started or where it is posted that this is a legitimate safety tactic.

That guy weighs a ton too. He needs like Veteran or Begode to provide enough juice (current) to keep balanced. Kingsong is good too but it's going to try and protect itself earlier than the other two brands mentioned. Lighter riders can race the S22 with more headroom.

From my experience with the S22 if you are going to lean it hard, put it in the most advance riding mode first. This makes it harder to over-lean, but it aids against cut-outs.

In fact pro tip if your already ripping on it, don't lean into it like you think there is more to give, your face to pavement. Learn your limitations and ride according.

If the PWM is at 100 the motor cant tildback because it already uses every avalable power there is, how schout it tildback, for a tildback it would neet even more power to get you upride again, but the motor and battery is already at the max delivery possible.
@MaximilianGros
@MaximilianGros Жыл бұрын
@@EUCLimburg Of course, the tiltback should start earlier, when the wheel still has the reserves for it. It seems to work on my wheel and I see no reason why it shouldn't be possible on a more powerful wheel.
@EUCLimburg
@EUCLimburg Жыл бұрын
@@MaximilianGros Tiltback works onley for max speeds witout a power peek. But you can overpower every wheel on every speed. Just don 't go over 80 PWM. But if there is a power peek becouce of a bump in the road ore suddenley to hard accelerating. Tiltback will not work becouce there is even more power needed what is not avalable. If you don,t want to cutout ride within the margens and then there is still a chance you get a unexpected power peek. So if you realey don,t want to cutout stop using euc,s its all in the game!
@MaximilianGros
@MaximilianGros Жыл бұрын
@@EUCLimburg That's not true. Tiltback works at any speed. I actually only experience it when the battery is almost empty, because the beeps start relatively late under load and I don't have enough time to react. There is absolutely no reason why it works fine on an 18XL and not on the S20. Ask 1Radwerkstatt if you don't believe me or check forum topic "PWM monitoring and alarms added in Darknessbot". It also explains why the Kingsong tiltback is not based on the PWM value. "Tiltback will not work becouce there is even more power needed what is not avalable." With a reasonable safety margin there is always enough power for tiltback. It's much more important than beeps and completely stupid not to use or implement it correctly.
