FTR, ningning advises to have rollers at the bottom facing the front of the wheel. I felt that it makes more sense to have them be opposing.

They are nice, easy install. The clips make it easy for regular maintenance. To give you an ides I ride mine part time on mountain trails. I take all the wheels off and clean them every 600 to 700 km. I also have found the front bottom wheels are the high stress area, rotate them to any middle location.

Manufacturers take baby steps in improving their wheels. As consumers we have a choice if we want to purchase what they have to offer, or to wait for them to continuously improve their product. Unfortunately, I'm in the camp where we accept the condition of the device at the time of purchase and trade our hard earned dollars for it.

@@2cells1pack Much as I fell in lust with the S22 when the first vids were released and was tempted to put down a deposit, I was soon disappointed once I saw how the sliders aka “grinders” were open to dust and debris and I could see that the design was fundamentally flawed. The faulty design was obvious to anyone with even the slightest mechanical aptitude before even riding it and showed up soon after the test wheels were out with testers. It’s unacceptable that a device that’s so capable off-road fails so quickly when used in the environment it was designed for and shows they either didn’t test it thoroughly enough for the faults to show up or worse, they did and they carried on regardless. Neither of which is acceptable. Would you find it acceptable if you bought an off-road vehicle (bike or car) that performed perfectly the first time you used it but thereafter its performance degraded on every subsequent journey to become unusable in months? I wouldn’t, I’d return it under the lemon law as not fit for purpose. Even the roller design that people are spending a lot of money to “fix” their wheel is only a temporary hack (albeit a clever one) and I’ve seen more than one content maker with broken rollers already. As for your analogy, Apple, Google etc actually have recalled their devices when faults have appeared.

I don't disagree that it's a bad design. But for those that have purchased it, they purchased it knowing it's design and therefore accepted that it was worth their hard earned money. For those that were waiting for improvements, they have had to live without the s22 until the s22 pro was released. This is why I don't think that Kingsong should be obligated to give the sliders free of charge to s22 owners.

I've seen you not disconnect the batteries and just remove the faze wires before. I have never done that method, also requires no discharge. Is this simply a preference? Is there any harm that can be done?

I sometimes may forget to film that part. Thanks for bringing it up. There's some things I take for granted - and when doing multiple takes it can be lost in the ether.

What do you recommend if you strip a silver 5mm bolt on the suspension pin removal step?

I just rode the s22 pro in search of my second wheel from v11. I was looking at patton, v14, commqnder mini but after seeing and riding the s22 pro i think my mind is made up. Its the s22 pro or the new blitz
