Im 5'11" 185-190lbs and I've came to realize since watching the USSSA Major teams, that I hit the ball just as hard and far as these 6'5" 300+lb swingers. I thought these guys would be much better. Don't get me wrong, theys some amazing talent, but you take away HRs from a good chunk of these teams, and you see just how one dimensional they really are. Absolutely terrible in the field and it's either a 2 bouncer to the pitch, or over the fence more times than not. I take more pride in my glove, than I do my bat. I don't lack confidence as I'm sure you can tell, but I expected more before I seen some of the teams play. I'm old and gray now lol...but man I really enjoyed it while it lasted. All the Glory goes to my Lord Jesus Christ for blessing me with many good years of athletic ability.

Can't believe men play slow pitch softball only using the 60 feet bases. They should be using regular 90 feet bases if you ask me

Usually they do use the 90 foot bases. I also noticed the pitchers mound is closer as well.
